The employees are overall great. They don't get much training it seems like, so please be nice to them. It is a very toxic work environment, very sad because many of their sales floor employees are fantastic and genuinely passionate about the industry.Unfortunately poor upper management makes it a bad shopping experiencing often, also causing said employees to get the brunt of the blame despite them not having a hand in it. I wouldn't recommend giving them your money because of how they mistreat and fail their employees, and because their product selection caters heavily to the larger corporations that lack quality. Shop local when you can, it matters!The only benefit is they sometimes have very cheap deals, so if you are tight for money, this is a good option for you. Ask employees about sales and future sales to stay on top of it, the cheap stuff will disappear fast but can be a great snag.

Went there with a SK driver's license that was hole-punched since I had recently renewed it; was waiting on a replacement. The person at SGI assured me it was still usable as a valid photo ID, and a quick internet search confirmed this. I tried to clarify this with the woman behind the counter who was adamant that it was not an acceptable form of photo ID. I doubt SGI would steer me wrong on this issue. I take their word over a cash register attendant anyday. Strangely, they had no problem accepting the exact same ID just a week prior. As I was trying to explain to the lady that my ID is valid, some moustached, long-haired dude patronizingly laid into me about 'arguing' and something or other with a suddenly raised voice. I only gave one star to make this review. Zero stars is much more accurate.

I dont know why this place had my personal info and called me. I have nothing to do with Cannabis. A lady called me, said my name. I didn't hear clearly what she said. I was about to ask why she had my number and my name but didn't get the chance cause she hung up on me when she realized I couldn't understand what she said. RUDE!!

I've been finding seeds in my weed which tells me the growers have been stressing the plants too much. I'll never buy Spinach GMO Cookies or Spinach brand ever again. I hate wasting money I can't get a refund for.

First and last time going here. Customer service doesn't matter, they care about a sale. She didn't even try to help me actually find something, just rattled things off. You can't read any of the products from the counter and no menus. Then actually had the nerve to ask me for my ID a second time to confirm before purchase" even though she was who asked for it when I walked in. Begs to question if she even actually read it before allowing me to browse."

Management doesn't care for their employees or their futures. They treat customers like trash, right in front of other customers. If I could give negative stars, I would. This place is trash. They have a turnover rate like no other dispensary in Saskatoon.

Not introvert-friendly, no menus to read besides the labels on the shelved boxes that aren't legible from the counter along with the scrolling menu on the tv's. I asked why they don't have tablets to display the menu and their reasons is because they're located on idylwyld. Implying this wasn't a safe place to be and therefore I left since I didn't want to talk someone in order to know what was for sale.
