I had an appointment on Friday which I booked a week prior. I got off work 2 hours early to be on time. When I showed up to the salon I was told my hair dresser got COVID and that they’re phone was out of service so they couldn’t contact me. This was extremely frustrating because I wanted my hair coloured for a bachelorette party I was attending that night. It’s impossible to find another salon on such short notice. I understand some things are out of our control but I would’ve appreciated a phone call from one of the stylists cell phones. This salon has lost a customer.

I’ve been seeing Taylor for the past 5 years and I have nothing but amazing experiences from her! She really takes the time to get to know her clients and always ensures you leave feeling beautiful and that your hair is just as beautiful. Highly, highly recommend Taylor for all of your sporadic hair ideas, She nails it every single time!

Have been 3 times. Everytime the price goes up. $50 to get my son a trim that nobody could tell he got. I highly recommend going somewhere else.

I had Brynn do my highlights and cut and she was fantastic. Very professional and friendly. Knew exactly what I wanted, even if I couldnt quite articulate it. Would definitely recommend.

Edit: My hairstylist was Brynn.I want to start this review saying that all the hairstylists here are very nice. I had no issues in terms of demeanour or anything. From the very beginning where I booked my appointment, to when the appointment happened I made it very clear I wanted fashion colours. I wanted fiery hair with bright reds, oranges and yellows. I came in with pink hair that was faded from red that I have had on my hair for years. During the appointment I shared multiple photos because I always want to be as clear as possible with what I want, pictured below are four photos professionally done by other people. I picked a red I really liked to start and I told the hair stylist that I’m okay with whatever methods she wants to get me there. If she wants to lighten me, or use any other methods to get me from A to B I will be happy and that she has my full trust.. as long as we get where I want.Now, I’m not a hair dresser myself but I have been dying and bleaching my hair for years. I know that you have to lighten the base in order to get an extremely bright end result. No lightener was used. No bleach. Nothing. Just red hair dye right onto my roots, combed through my hair. There was no attempt to make my hair uniform. I wanted my roots to be the same red as my mids. That didn’t happen. Then my bright orange I wanted was put on while my hair was wet. Again, not a hairdresser.. but the only time I’ve seen that method is when people are getting toned.The end result was a multi coloured red fiasco with some hints of orange. It looked like someone took a picture of my pinkish base to start and put an orange filter on it. It was not at all what I asked for and I asked for a senior stylist who specializes in fashion colours…. I was pretty shocked that after 2.5 hours that was the end result. My hairdresser was confused why it didn’t work and called her boss over to tell her about it. Her boss even said lightener should be used next time! It was very disappointing leaving the salon.I was extremely happy with my cut, but my hair dye was nothing short of a mess. The thought to re book and fix it was offered but I declined. I don’t think I can trust her to do my hair again after this experience. I’m just going to keep up my trend of dying my own hair and getting it cut professionally. I really appreciated the offer to leave without paying anything, but I did want to pay for the cut which I was happy with. I just feel like as a senior stylist, you should know how to do a basic ombre… I’m not a person who was looking to be a lab rat for someone who’s learning to do hair dye. I was looking for what I wanted in the first place.Anyways, if you are looking for a good hair cut go here. Otherwise if you’re doing fashion colours, maybe consider going somewhere else.

I love Luce East! I will always travel from the west end just to have my hair done by Samantha. She always understands what I want done and I am always unbelievably happy with the results. The staff are all friendly, professional and knowledgable. It feels like home.

they treated me awful. extremely unprofessional and really shocked me when they hit me with a curling iron. i mentioned at the beginning that i was a frosh. i would hate to think this abuse was a result of this information i shared. the rudeness was disgusting and i couldn’t believe the hurt she caused to me. when i asked how i should pay they simply said lift up your shirt and you’re good to go.

Abigail did an amazing job. She was totally focused on me and put a lot of care into the colour, listening and taking into consideration everything I asked for. I am so happy with the result!!
