Is a great place to learn about migratory birds. There are hiking paths, and plants & flowers everywhere. Volunteers help with sensory experiences in a workshop. They're very lovely people and the whole experience was wonderful.

Nice outdoor space with resident swans and geese. Hiking trail across and down the road a bit called kennedy woods. After the first part of the woods go either right or left around the field and into the far woods for more trails, 20 to 30 mins around.

Spent time in Kennedy woods beside the sanctuary. A number of paths through forest and field that could take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.

I remember coming here as a child. I came on a school trip as well as with my folks. I was always ah struck that this place was here. Now it is a fraction of what it use to be. It's still free to walk around some of the grounds and look through the musem. It;s a shame it costs so much to keep a place like this up and running.
