Went for applying for a new passport through walk in around 7:30am and there were tons of students around 30ish already on a Wednesday morning. The security asked everyone in line the purpose of visit. The elevator takes only 3 ppl or so, so the line moves at a reasonable rate at 8:30am. No waiting in line needed if you’ve an appointment. Masks mandatory to enter the building. The security would guide you throughout who seemed a bit mean and loud. A lady at front counter checks your documents and will asked to wait again untilYour name is called. The actual work is less than 8mins if you’ve all the docs,but unnecessary wait time is unavoidable. There were exactly 3 employees at this centre, like just 3!!!! And the official websites say they have added more staff? This is ridiculous. If a SIN can be applied online, not sure why so many students are waiting at service Canada!!! This centre could add more staff to be more efficient and the security can be more friendly. Expect to move through those waiting chairs 100 times because of the security lady’s organizational style! I was told my passport should arrive in a month, will update the review then. I was out by 10:15 and there were still people lined up outside. There’s paid parking on the street. Update- received my new passport within 20 calendar days.

I was at the Service Canada at 8:15 am on March 1, 2023 (the office opens at 8:30 am), and I was the second in the waiting line. At 8:30 am, there were 3 people in line. So I got the service really quickly.I talked with the officer about the waiting line, and she confirmed that this line is shorter than average. So maybe I am just lucky.

I printed out my ecopr without the bottom line, which is not accepted. I have to re-print again using the PC in the Centre, which actually took me quite awhile and there is nobody assist. But in the end I managed to do the printing. After that everything is good. Thanks to Mr. Link. He has been very patient and friendly to us. He is also very resourceful and very efficient. There are four family members in my family and the whole procedure took about 20-25 minutes. Overall everything is fine.

Went on a Friday at about 8:10am (20mins before opening) and there were about 20 people ahead of me already! I advise coming maybe for 7:50-8:00, or just avoid Mondays and Friday’s entirely. Every Staff I encountered was nice and helpful (they only had 2 people working at the booths but I’m sure they’re understaffed) Anyways I was out at just after 10am so it was not too bad. Passport backlog has been fixed too! It’s only a month long wait for renewals now.

Staff are respectful and reasonable. The 2 staff were working hard trying to get the line going. Giving 2 stars because it took 4 hours (not 2 as estimated) due to short staffing issues as well it was not easy to find the online appointment booking for this site. Apparently you just need your SIN number and need to wait 10 days for an appointment. I could not find this easily online.

Came in at 9 am walk in, and took almost 3 hours to get the passport application in. Dont recommend walk-ins. People with appointment trump you even though you wait in line for hours.

Many of the employees are pretty rude and makes you rush things, especially the security. Overall my experience is pretty bad since the security keeps forgetting points that you say.

Pay parking on some areas $6+ for 2 hours. Park a block away so it is free 2 hours except with permit.Giving 1 star as i forgot my marriage certificate for passport new passport application, i know it was my fault but now, i was told to “LINE UP AGAIN”No consideration for elderly and with kids and pregnant women. If you require to sit, unfortunately there are no seat available except on the lobby. Line up is long and there’s only few people on the window. People working here try their best but we pay taxes for these kinds of services. It is like 3rd world country really.Get your act together government!If i can give zero stars, I would.

The people working here were super nice and helpful. This location was a bit busy at 8:30am, but it only took an hour for everything despite the long line.

Arrived at 7:40 AM, Igot in at 8:30 AM to get my passport renewed, got out at 8:50 AM, and there was no line up outside of the building. Everyone I dealt with was pretty efficient and friendly. The gentleman I dealt with when renewing passport was polite, clear, and made sure I had done everything. It’s a good experience.
