Jolly Smart Kids Childcare Center

Jolly Smart Kids is the best daycare out there. I was very nervous about placing my son in daycare, but I knew this was a special place after my tour with Joy. Maribel, Maria, and Joy took great care of my son. At the daycare, they allow kids to learn through play-based learning. Every day through their ‘HiMama’ app, I got to see how my son was doing. They are diligent in tracking what he ate, his diaper changes, and his activities, which was always communicated by the app. The facility is bright, well organized and the playground is every child’s dream playground. They are amazing at making kids feel special. I would highly recommend this daycare.

My son started here at 14 months old when they first opened. They have been very kind, caring, and accommodating. He seems to be learning lots (e.g., sign language, eating with utensils, colouring, progressing in his walking, and social skills). He always comes home clean and happy. The app they use to share info throughout the day is a nice way to see what he's been up to and is very valuable. Great experience to date and happy we sent him here.

This is a long overdue review! Our son, who just turned 2, began attending jolly smart kids April 1st and absolutely loves it!This daycare has completely exceeded our expectations. I honestly have nothing but great things to say. All the staff go above and beyond for the kids and it is clear they genuinely care about each child. They are incredibly transparent about the good and the bad which I LOVE. They keep us up to date with an app called “hi mama” so we get to know everything they’ve done. Joy has also provided us with amazing resources to help with potty training, unwanted behaviours, scheduling, etc. They foster independence in the children and I am amazed at everything my son has learned in the past 2 months. Most importantly our son is excited to go to “school” and loves his teachers! It is so clear to us that he’s taken great care of due to how happy and comfortable he is there and with all the staff. I could go on and on, but I’ll just end by saying you definitely won’t regret sending your kids here!

There are not enough words to describe how much we love this childcare center! They are absolutely wonderful with our children! The staff are so caring, and they make you feel like you are a part of their family from the moment you walk in the door.

It seems like this daycare has a closed door policy. Parents are not allowed past the front door when they drop or pick up their kids. Every time we drop our children, not only they cry, but other children do too. It doesn't look like kids want to go there. Unfortunately, the childcare workers in this daycare do not speak English well. Thus, the communication is very limited...

I'm really struggling how to write this as I really do want to be kind but clear. I honestly trust that this is a wonderful place for children, but unfortunately to date, my personal experience is only specifically with trying to communicate with them, and this experience has been very difficult and to be honest I feel very disrespected. No one has been outwardly rude, I want to be clear about that, but it has been nearly comical (if it wasn't a frustrating experience) how incredibly many times the ball has been dropped on their end and how much back and forth there has been from trying to reach out to them for some simple information. Really sad about this. Really hoping I can change this review one day.

We enrolled our 3 year old daughter on the first day that JSKCC opened. Since then we have been nothing but impressed with the quality of care that our daughter has received. She loves going to pre-school and loves the staff who work there.The staff genuinely care about the children and do a wide range of activities with them every day - we have seen a lot of progress from our daughter as a result. We also enjoy using the HiMama app to see what they have been up to each day.We would not hesitate to recommend them - keep up the great work!
