Clarkson Community Centre

I tried to go to parent and tot swim class and wasn’t allowed because I have three kids. When I asked why the lady in the front she rolled her eyes and looked annoyed that I questioned her. One is 6 and can swim, I ask if he can do swim test was told no at first and when I repeatedly said he can swim can he do the swim test three times, was told “if he fails must leave the facility immediately” and that’s a direct quote from Margaret. The lady at the desk greeted me by saying “yes” after I waited for her to finish her (what seemed to be) private phone call. Extremely condescending from the start, and I was nothing but respectful. I am not sure why people go to work if they hate their job and then take it out on the customer. I would recommend any other community centre. This has horrible customer service and doesn’t even follow their own rules.

All of the facilities here are well maintained and cleaned. The pool area is excellent and the staff are friendly and accommodating at every turn. The building is quite well designed to let in a great deal of outdoor light with an atmosphere that is both welcoming and comforting. I've never had a day where my visit was anything but a great experience.

Great facility! Professional staff. Facility clean and well maintained. Great variety of programs. Arena and pool facilities.

Well equipped with ice rink, gym, library and swimming pool.

Very good swimming pool.Good instructors, the warm therapy pool is very good for sore joints.This is a multipurpose facility.There is a large swimming pool, a skating rink, a library and exercise studios.

Swimming pool is great multi function suitable for all ages and mobility levels. Love how they have the shallow kiddie area for toddlers and babies, appreciate the walk-in ramp with rails for getting into the water for those that need assistance, and then there is the normal" pool section that is like all others.Great place to go either alone or as a family."

Today was my wife’s first swimming lesson at Clarkson community centre 6:30pm, and was a total mess.I’ve never seen the pool so crowded, no one knew where to take the class or who will give it, the risk of lacking of social distancing was too high.Adding insult to injury, an idiotic man hit my wife in the face due to the lack of space, I’m not sure if he didn’t know even the common sense basics behind what swimming means or if he was just fooling around, but in the end he ruined my wife’s lesson and left her with a mark and a strong hit in the face.Please put a supervisor in place for more control, today this incident could’ve been prevented with the proper organization. Use the lanes and spread people around the whole pool -half of it was empty whilst the other side was concentrating almost everybody.

Since Huron Pk pool is closed for long term? I ventured back to Clarkson after a few years. Still good and clean, fairly busy. It is an OK pool, nice group of swimmers use this pool. It has fairly convenient hours, and the staff are excellent. If it were not so far from Port Credit this would be my second favorite indoor pool.Cawthra is the best indoor pool

Used the pool for lane swim and parent and tot swim! Clean change rooms and pool. Amazing heated therapy pool that’s actually heated well for parent and tot. Staff are all nice. My fav community pool in Mississauga !

A huge improvement compared to the old rink I used to visit as a child. The building is clean and fresh with a large pool. The change rooms still stink, but I guess that's hockey, eh!
