Worst school bus company in Canada.I was working there from 2011 till 2015.From years 2011 till 2014 management was good, reliable and responsible.In year 2015 situation changed.New management started abuse and disrespect drivers.Ogden yard supervisor Angela Durosher openly used technics to set up, target and illegally push out drivers she didn't like personally from the company.She was permanently asking driver do illegal, unsafe driving job to do, like drive when you sick or drive mechanicaly unsafe school buses.As a driver I was targeted, abused and discriminated and pushed to do unsafe job.I was working as school bus driver for 15 years for different companies in Ontario and Alberta.Former long distance truck driver not capable drive truck anymore because of official disability.Southland management ignored all this and made me quit a company.Do not recommend anyone work at this company and use their unsafe servuses

These people have no conscience. If you have no other option but to use them, always make sure to tell your children to call the police if the bus driver doesn't know where they are going and/or is belligerent and frightening to them. This happened with children I know.

Best part time job

Worst mean of transportation you can use for your kids commute to school. 3rd week of school and the bus has been late almost 4 days out of 5. Yesterday the bus did not even showed up w have to hustle drop and pick out kids off. This morning it is 35 minutes late. The worst is when we called their dispatch, their staff lacks lack the basic standards of curtesy and politeness. Her excuse is there is an accident ( which was way far from the bus route). She did not hesitate to blame CBE for their mismanagement, and unprofessionalism. Yes we know CBE creates the routes , but you manage the buses, train your drivers and dispatch. If you are way privileged to run most of the schools in the city, you must be up to this challenge, have empathetic competent staff, pay your bus drivers fairly and provide them with benefits in order to guarantee their retention. SOUTHLAND DO BETTERWe are now in the fourth week …the bus is still running 40 minutes to an hour late. This is not only causing stress to parents ,but impacting kids learning.
