Glastar Sunrooms by SunShade Products Ltd.

We bought our Glasstar sunoom in 2008. In the last few years it became slightly un levelled. I emailed Galstar. I came home Monday & our sunroof was all levelled. Doors sliding perfectly.We use the sunroom every day if there is no snow on the ground. We were & continue to be very happy with our Glasstar sunroom & recommend it to friends. Now we're even happier with the outstanding service even after 13 years.

We purchased our Glastar sunroom in spring of 2020 and it was completed just before summer. I can truly say the only regret is not having done this sooner. Winnipeg is known for mosquitoes, especially in the evenings. Prior to the sunroom, sitting outside was difficult. The sunroom changed everything. It provided nice shade during the day and gave us a great place to sit late into the evenings. We love the ability to sit “outside” even when it is warm and rainy. The quality and attention to detail was excellent and we have not had any leaks. One thing I would recommend to anyone considering a sunroom is don’t make it too small. The cost will be long forgotten, but a sunroom that is too small will always cause regret. Our sunroom is 20x12 and a perfect size. We can relax and have meals in it without feeling crowded. A big thanks to Glastar and the workers that built it.

We moved into a house several months ago that had a Glastar sunroom that was 9 years old but still in excellent condition. We LOVE it and spend A LOT of time in it. Coffee every morning, lots of dinners, socializing with friends. So nice to feel like you are outdoors but not have to worry about the bugs. However, possibly due to the extremely dry weather lately, we woke up a couple days ago and found that it had shifted away from the house on one side around the ceiling by at least a full inch. We called Glastar and they said that a service person would be by to fix it for free in the next couple of weeks. Arnie showed up today (much sooner than expected) and spent several hours under the sunroom, making sure everything was in good working order and fixing the tilt in the room. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he went above and beyond to help make future adjustments even easier. We were very happy with the customer service we received from Glastar, especially considering we were not direct customers. I would give a sixth star if it were possible.

Sending a huge thank you to Glastar for our beautiful sunroom. It has easily become our most favourite room in the house and so far, rain or shine, it is where we are spending all our time. Brad was absolutely wonderful to work with and the entire process was made easy and painless. We could not be more happy with how everything turned out - our only regret is that we didn’t do it years ago. Everyone needs one of these rooms! Our sunroom was built in 2001, and we have enjoyed it immensely since then. It's still like new. Great place to sit while watching the rain. No mosquitos!!! The people from Sunshade Products were very good to work with; friendly, good follow-up... I built the deck portion myself to save money and they were very helpful in planning the construction of the deck/floor with me. If we move I will get another sunroom from them.

Absolutely great product and fantastic support. We bought a house with an existing Glastar sunroom. We weren't too sure we would use the sunroom when looking at the house, but after moving in, the sunroom is our favourite part of the house, hands down. Getting a few spare parts, and tech support from the folks at the the factory was simple and painless. They provided timely and relevant support.Highly recommend working with the folks at Glastar.

We have been extremely pleased with the Glastar Sunroom we purchased from SunShade Products in 2014! During the summer, we spend more time in the sunroom than anywhere else in the house.Before selecting a contractor, we had checked around the neighbourhood with other area residents who had this type of sunroom. Three other homeowners reported that they had been extremely pleased with SunShade and recommended that we deal with them.The sales representative that we dealt with was pleasant and professional, and he responded honestly to all of our questions. The management and installation crew were flexible and responsive to our needs.In June 2020, six years after the purchase and construction of our sunroom, we experienced our first issues. These were related to levelling.I called and spoke to a representative, explained the issue and asked for help. Their service person, Arnie, attended a few days later and corrected the problem. Having met Arnie, I must say he is an ideal example of a service representative to deal with customers and resolve their concerns.Best of all, SunShade provided this service call six years after the original installation, and did not charge me to correct the issues of concern.Five stars!

Great people to work with. We couldn’t be more pleased with our dealings with them. We stopped in to Glastar on Sutherland Ave. to get some ideas and do a little research. Before leaving there 45 - 50 minutes later we had made our decision to purchase a Glastar Sunroom by SunShade. A week later a representative came to our home, for further consultation. Within 45 minutes we had a firm price quote & we signed a contract and paid the 10% deposit.It was such a happy experience interacting with all these people through each and every aspect of the process. Later we enjoyed watching the 2 man crew assemble our Sunroom with care and attention to the details.We are so happy with the finished structure. It is everything we had hoped for. We would highly recommend Glastar to our friends and others.

The wait of a year was well worth it. The company was so busy with bookings that it took awhile to get our sunroom. Absolutely love the space. We’re in it more than the main house…..even as the cooler weather is now coming at night making it cool first thing in the morning a small heater is more than enough to warm it up. Would tell anyone who’s thinking about doing/ getting a sunroom - go for it. Best money we ever spent!

From step 1-through to completion , every person from Sunshade was so helpful . Dana was the installer and so meticulous and so conscientious, while putting the sunroom together, as if he was building it for himself .. WELL DONE , WE LOVE OUR NEW SUNROOM !! Highly recommend Glastar , not even one thing to complain about … :)) Great product and comparable price.Shout out to Brad , Dana, Steve… and the entire crew!!!
