There might be a different experience when you order something to be made specifically for you, but I walked in and bough 4 cinnamon roles and 4 cupcakes as were having company. I was very disappointed. The cinnamon rolls were not very fresh and even after warming them, not very good or tender. The cupcakes had a M&M peanut on top so I expected there to be some M&M peanuts in the cupcake but it was a plain chocolate cupcake with a lot of plain frosting and one M&M peanut. I try to support local but this one backfired on me. Spent a lot of money for baked goods that were not satisfactory.

King's bake shop is absolutely incredible! My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this place and the staff there. Cheslea and her incredible team make sure that your order is placed correctly and on time - plus they deliver! The macarons are to die for, the cakes & cupcakes are absolutely beautiful and taste good too. There are plenty of vegan products and she is constantly creating new flavors and baked goods to try. We have used King's bake shop for multiple dinner parties, are engagement, our wedding and our baby shower - and I'm certain that we will continue using them again and again. Cheslea I apologize on the late review I wrote one after our wedding but just recently realized that it didn't get published! I must add that their beverages are also incredible and worth trying the prices for everything are fair and the team is so easy to work with.Cutest little bake shop in town this is a must stop shop! Don't miss out!

I really would have loved to have a positive experience at this bakery, but it was far much worst than what I expected . To start, I had contacted the bakery 2 weeks before my event to ask if they were available to bake a 6 inch cake for my husband’s birthday. I heard back from them 4 days later. I was told that it was indeed possible for my order to be taken and that the date was available for my cake to be baked. I was instructed to choose flavours from the website. I then sent the details for my cake order along with some follow up questions regarding the cake. This was 10 days before the date requested. I didn’t hear back from the bakery until I called, 2 days before my event, panicking to see if they were still able to even accommodate my request since I never received a confirmation. Cheslea answered my call and we discussed the cake details over the phone. I was told that she would send an order confirmation via email with all the details we confirmed on the phone, and never received one. I then took the initiative upon myself to email yet again to confirm the details of the flavour and design discussed, only to be told that today is baking day and that I will recieve an invoice and order confirmation prior to my pick update. I received the invoice of the cake the morning of my pick up date and the flavour notes I had requested including the berry filling and for the cake and cream cheese butter cream to be half sweet were not included. When I picked the cake up, the design looked okay, but the horror was when we got home to celebrate my husbands birthday. The cake was dry on the inside, and no berry filling was included. It did not taste like cream cheese and the sweetness was not half sweet as we had discussed over the phone. The buttercream on the inside was very thick in ratio comparison to the cake. I was extremely disappointed with this experience as we drove 1.5 hours away from Michigan to pick this cake up. I emailed Cheslea to express my disappointment before posting my review, and was ignored. My sister was planning to order her engagement cake from here and won’t be planning to given the lack of communication and poor quality.

Every single thing from here is absolutely delicious. The raw cookie dough, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and brownies are amazing. You won't be disappointed in anything they have to offer, and everyone is so kind on top of it!

Their 72 hour cakes are really bad. I thought they looked nice in the pictures and I’ve tried desserts from them before so I thought it would be good cake since I saw them post about their cakes often.The outside was pretty nicely decorated, but the inside was horrible. When you cut it, all the layers fell apart. You could not get one single intact slice of cake. The cake part was falling apart from the icing and the cake was so dry and the icing was more solid almost like ice cream and had such a plain flavor even though we left it out for an hour before cutting.It was disappointment since we drove from far to get it. I think they must freeze the cakes or something and just take them out and decorate them when they get an order because it was such a dry texture and not worth the money at all.I gave two stars because some of their other desserts are good but their cakes are very much not. The picture is the aftermath of trying to cut it but the cake just completely fell apart.

Our wedding sweet table was a huge hit!! The wedding cake and assortment of pastries were out of this world - so delicious!! All our guests loved everything, especially the macarons! We cannot thank Cheslea and her team enough for being part of our big day and being so helpful and accommodating with picking flavours and getting things together for our day! They set up the dessert table beautifully and it was truly amazing! Thank you so much! I cannot recommend Kings Bake Shop enough for all your pastry wishes, especially on your big day!!

Kings is not your average bake shop. Not only does this place deliver some seriously awesome treats and drinks, the environment is ever unbeatable. So many cute things to surround yourself with and shop for! On top of all of these things- it is a super inclusive and safe place for all equity seeking communities. Best bake shop ever

Kings Bake Shop is awesome! I always recommend their desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth!! Their menu is always great and the shop is adorable. I'm so glad my husband and I chose them for our wedding desserts.We had our wedding ceremony during the pandemic and Cheslea really helped bring our dessert table vision come to life while adhering to all of the restrictions at the time.We had a sweetheart cake that tasted incredible! We also had cupcakes topped with macarons for all our guests to take home and enjoy. We received so many compliments on them! They were a hit!Thank you so much!! We can't picture our special day without your sweets!!
