This business provides thorough, creative and experienced dog training in many areas of dog learning. Eve has year of dog knowledge that she shares in creative ways. My young dog has excelled in competitive obedience under her teaching.

Great facility to train/take classes at. Very knowledgeable and professional trainers, who are always looking at the needs of your dog. Another great thing is that they offer a great variety of different sports. If you're looking for a place to start your puppy with socialization classes, do some basic obedience, or to get into the competitive sports with your dog. This is the place to go!! The facility is very clean and organized.

If you want to take classes with your dog whether it be puppy socialization, competitive obedience, agility, rally, conformation or scent detection this is the place to go! They have extremely knowledgeable trainers that are experts and judges in all these sports with decades of experience, a true love for the dogs and a genuine interest in helping owners achieve the best from their canine partners. Their methods are positive and very balanced. They make it fun for both dog and owner with so many creative training ideas! They truly understand dog behaviour and are able to modify their training techniques for each dog, breed, owner and help you achieve the best from your dog! I honestly can’t say enough great things about them and am continually taking ongoing competitive Obedience & Scent classes. I have been successful in my competitions with their help! Look no further!

Fantastic! The training methods were tailored for my dogs ability and mine. Both of my dogs are doing so much better. Lots of different classes to choose from. Small class sizes as well which is great.

Eve and Tina are extremely knowlegeable in helping people work with many breeds of dogs, some, like mine, not typical obedience breeds. I have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and enjoyment progressing with my dalmatians.

If clear communication, excellent behaviour expectation and building a better bond between you and your dog is what you're seeking, Dogs Allowed is the place!Dogs Allowed is such a unique training team for this City. They offer puppy behaviour classes, basic obedience and also competitive obedience/rally Obedience classes. If canine competition interests you, they will take you all the way to your first competition!Having personally taken a puppy class, beginner Rally class and continuing in Competitive Obedience class I'm confident in recommending Dogs Allowed for those Edmontonians who want a well behaved, well trained family pet and are willing to do the work.I appreciate the way the Trainers, Eve and Tina, don't sugar coat things when they communicate with me. They are clear and concise with their ask and reasoning. Not everyone is appreciative of their directness but I find it refreshing this day & age!We highly recommend their balanced approach to dog training with positive reinforcement and behaviour expectations. My dog has a great time at obedience class and many people comment when they meet him how outgoing, confident and well behaved he is.I should add that:- Their facility is very clean and does not smell like dogs at all. They clean the floor constantly.- You will be expected to work your dog on a suitable leash and collar. Harnesses and flexi/retractable leashes are not allowed.- They allow intact dogs in class and dogs of all sizes- You will find many responsible owners and responsible dog breeders take these classes.- During Covid when Provincial allowances were in place, I never felt unsafe taking classes and they weren't complaining about masks.

We successfully completed level one agility class without issue or complaint. We were accepted to and paid for level 2 class. The first night of class- an unleashed dog inappropriately came up to my puppy- who responded- pulled on his leash ( he was leashed and at my side)and growled slightly. He was leashed and under my control at all times. He is a very vocal animal- who frequently growls and barks in non aggressive communication .( A trait shared with his mother and well documented) .An unknown, very rude woman started yelling that his behavior was not to be tolerated and we were told to leave. She never introduced herself/ asked who I or my dog was/ asked about typical behavior of the puppy/ etc. (we had completed 3 other 6 wk obedience classes elsewhere without any issues between the puppy and other dogs) . As it turns out- she is the owner, Eve. Especially as an owner, I found her actions toward her client disgraceful & unacceptable .Ironically their website claims dogs each have their own unique traits and mannerisms

I did not have a good experience here. The owner was very rude and hostile as soon as I walked in the door. We disagreed on training methods (she immediately wanted to aversively correct my puppy, and told me I was doing everything wrong) and then told me she wasn’t the trainer for me. To her credit, she did refund me that night. I was not going to post this review but have recently heard from a few others who had even worse experiences than I did. Steer clear of this facility. It’s one thing to disagree on training methods, but another to treat a client (or even human being) like she did.
