Simple Simon Pies - Crossroads Market

These pies are FANTASTIC. The customer service at crossroads is great. I believe the older gentleman who works there is Simon himself. He is very sweet and hands out plenty of samples to choose from! Every pie I have tried - sweet and savoury, has been absolutely amazing. My favourites are the apple pie, Buffalo chicken pie, and the donair pie (which I do not see on the website). The soups are also good, however I have not tried enough of them to leave a review. The pies can seem a bit on the pricey side but I promise you that it is well worth it! Also, congrats on your new store across from the market!

Ordered $150 worth of pies expecting them to show up today around 6pm. Never showed up, never called upon arrival as told to. Of course they close at 6, so by the time I got home I couldn't get a hold of anyone.

I really like their soups and most of the pies. The Taco pie is a little too Taco spice for me as it tastes just like the Taco powder mix, if they would tame down how much powder they put in them they would be much better.

The chicken Alfredo with pasta was amazing definitely want more thanks for letting me try it

We have loved Simple Simon's pies for ages, they are truly quality pies. Please make note that despite their listings saying they are in the Calgary Farmers Market, they no longer are. They have an independent location now across the street.

I can NOT say enough good things about this place, everyone is always SO friendly. We are from Chestermere, AB and we make a trip almost every weekend to the market to grab some of the delicious pies and such. Even my 3 year old asks to go here! 10/10, amazing!!

Stopped at Simple Simon Pies at Crossroads for family gathering desserts. Rhubarb Strawberry pie as perfect. The pastry is the best I've had and the strawberry wasn't used exclusively to allow the rhubarb to shine. The peach pie was also very nice, not too sweet and fresh tasting. The savory pies were available for tasting and I will certainly be back for some of those.

I will never buy pie from here again. Got severe food poisoning twice from eating a meat pie.Have 3 left in freezer that will go straight into the garbage.
