Trillium Woods Elementary School

I really want to give the school in general a 4 star rating, since most of the teachers are great, the school is clean and tidy and the grounds are decent, however there are many reasons I can’t.I was excited to have my son come to this school knowing they have one of the best Special Needs program in Ontario. Sadly I had to fight with them for 5 years to help my son. After making me jump through hoop after hoop, they completely let him slip through the cracks. Regardless of how many specialists, and doctors recommended needs for him.There’s been nothing but problems with this school. From complete lack of support when children need it the most, to refusing to provide a safe kiss and ride on the property to allow for safe and quick drop offs, and some teachers will yell at your child for asking for help zipping up a jacket. The principal of the school likes to sit on his pedestal while abusing his power for his staff and friends, instead of focusing on what’s best for the kids.

It's an okay school good education but there had been times where it's not the best. They have said my child needed to be quite and stob being such a crybaby after falling. They also said to them that they would contact me about them hitting their head on ice and didn't. Please fix these problems

This school doesnt function like like a normal school.. It works BACKWARDS.. Aswell Liers ... The staff arent their to help parents or kids.. Just in it for the pay check.The like to blame students for their mistakes... I really wish this school would become better for STUDENT AND PARENTS.. BUT THATS WONT HAPPEN

This is an amazing school and we love almost everything about it, though their principal, sean ealey, has some major deficiencies. Besides being entirely incompetent in his duties as a principal and always acting in bad faith, he seriously needs to hire an English tutor. His correspondence is becoming absolutely painful to read. It's unacceptable and unprofessional for a principal to be unable to write a coherent sentence and have the grammar skills of an uneducated simpleton. We will update this review and give five stars when that joke gets removed from this wonderful school.

Amazing school all around ! Very accomodating. Friendly principal and staff ! This is by far the best school i have ever dealt with. Beautiful tree lot and lovely building. Multilevel school very accomodating with an elevator for folks that need it. Absolutely recommend this school !

great school and nice staff

This is the second year I’ve had my child in TW. Last year in SK was great. The new principal, Disu, is combative, assuming, and does not care about students as individuals. Rather only concerned about implementing a *certain agenda, at all costs.
