Authentic New Mexican tamales! Made me feel at home and the owner was so nice! My favorite was the vegetarian queso tamale with green chile on top. Very happy to see so many vegetarian and vegan options. Will be back soon to try the enchiladas!

When I want a taste of food like my grandma in Albuquerque used to make I come to Dora at the tamale company because it's like I'm in NM again. I got the 1 tamale plate with spicy beans, rice and sopapillas. Everything was so delicious. It always feels like family when I go in because Dora knows me and strikes a conversation and she just treats everyone like family anyways. 100% would recommend to locals.

I completely enjoyed my meal. I had a chimichunga and bought tamales to bring home for supper. Wow! Dora, the owner is a diamond. She's professional and personable. She's a light in her restaurant. The place is so clean. The decorations are up to date. I can't wait to visit Bellingham again so that we can eat another meal there. Thank you for the experience Dora and the special treat you gave to me and my other 3 friends.

This definitely a great tamale shop. The tamales are excellent and they freshest I have found. Not only is food great they have many vegan and vegetarian options. From the first contact to the followup and quality check the staff, including the cooks give you they impression they care. If you like great tamales and Mexican food this is definitely worth trying.

We have been lucky to open a new office right next to this gem! Had never had a tamale before (shocking I know), and ordered one of everything to try. Excellent service and SO fast! Every single tamale recipe was delicious, I can't even pick a favorite. This is gonna be dangerous being so close! The service is excellent and very friendly. Super reasonably priced too. Highly recommend!

What an incredible find. Warm and friendly staff. Amazing food and an easy going relaxed place to enjoy a stunning caliber of entrees, sides and desserts. Hand made vegan, vegetarian and meat based tamales are only the beginning of the menu. Made with a passion for flavor, this place is not to be missed!

Holy stunning service! I chose the perfect place to go when incredibly hungry because between ordering and sitting down, the food was in front of me within a minute. It was all piping hot, large portions, and at such a great price. The menu had plenty of options that looked super tasty, as well as frozen tamales to take home. Amazing.The food was super delicious and filling, as beans, rice, chicken and corn will do. I would absolutely without hesitation come here again, and I will because I want to try more of their tamales. Super super good food.

Oh my goodness! Truly, the best tamales we have ever had. Loved everything about this place.-the delicious food, kind and friendly staff, and in particular how welcoming the environment was. We were so inspired by the personalized approach of the owner Dora- she checked in with every single person at the restaurant to make sure we were comfortable. They have so many vegan and vegetarian options. All super delicious. We love their tamales so much that we are now going back again this afternoon to grab their jalapeño tamales for the road. A must dine place in Bellingham.

Amazing food and so much more than tamales on the menu! I've dined in and ordered out several times and have not once been dissapointed. The quality of the food and menu options are wonderful—lots of vegan and vegetarian options too. The staff are all friendly and every time I've gone in I've been personally greated by the owner. If you're looking for a new spot with a unique spin on Mexican food check 'em out. I'll definitelly be back!

Fantastic service and the food was amazing! The tamales were absolutely perfect in every way and the queso is one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything has a perfect spice that just hits perfectly. Definitely coming again if I’m in the area!
