Two Small Men With Big Hearts

We moved locally in Abbotsford and found Peter very quick to come by and assess what we needed as far as 2 trucks/4 men. Tyler and the guys worked like crazy loading the two trucks completely full. We had zero items damaged. We had some moving blankets of our get mixed in with theirs and Peter searched every truck and returned them to us- super attitude and super helpful. Came in under budget too! We are very thankful for their hard work and expertise.

Cheep and quick. Watch your stuff as they move it, they rush the work not caring for your property. Some of my stuff went missing and others got damaged. The crew dosen't inform their boss what happens on the jobsite.

Do NOT use this company! Completely unprofessional. They were extremely late - 4 hours! The one mover complained nonstop about how overworked they were, how overbooked. How many men had quit their jobs because of mistreatment. They arrived 15 minutes after my final move out time. They damaged antiques. 2 pieces well over a hundred years old. My beautiful dining room cabinet and my great great grandmother’s antique dresser. The one mover unscrewed a 120 year old screw out of the dresser mirror, causing the arm of the mirror to fall off and left it ????? Now I am trying to fix this damage they caused. They damaged another 2 piece bureau, they crushed the dowling to hold it together, my Dad had to fix it to put it back together. They put holes or tears in half the boxes. Rubbermaid shelving unit was destroyed. Rubbermaid storage containers broken. They scratched or dented almost everything. The one guy had the worst attitude ever. It was extremely uncomfortable to be around his aggression. He made me very nervous. My parents and I helped to facilitate them to get to their next job. I was told over and over how his friends move was bumped to fit me in. Because the movers supposed to be doing my move quit the day before from working 18 hour days. Everything about this move was horrible. There was Zero communication from the company until they were 40 minutes past the final arrival time. And then I still didn’t know for hours when my movers would arrive. I was supposed to be out by 1. They arrived at 1:15. So that in itself caused extra travel time as well as they now were travelling in rush hour on my buck. Nothing but problems and mistakes. Was never offered any sort of compensation or discount for all the problems they caused. They misrepresented themselves on every level. Just because they advertise Nationally in Canada, don’t take they’re advertisements at face value. This company is run terribly. They told me “all the best” when I emailed in regards to the damage they caused. I will NEVER use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone!!!! Ever! Do yourself a favour and find yourself an actual professional moving service. You pay big bucks with 2 small men with big hearts moving and it’s not to have a professional move! I phoned dispatch they were understanding and wanted things resolved however the lady, Ali who resolves things her response was “all the best”! Apparently Ali has never used the company to move and destroy her belongings. These people do NOT have Big Hearts, they were completely cold calculated and unfeeling as to my horrid moving experience- they didn’t care one but. Not even a small discount was offered after all their screw ups. I won’t use this company ever again

Thieves! The guys were awesome on moving day friendly and helpful when we were stiffed for a storage space from U haul....they saved the day. Then we left them to put our stuff in the storage.space. Well they thru everything in the space and ran out of room. So the remaining 10 items they put in a staff locker telling us 10 days later. Those item they assured us were safe. Come moving day 9 months later, all the staff is different nobody knows about this extra locker until we tell them and ask for a key and most of the items are missing and the office manager can't find the list of items they had so we tell her and she says she needs to deal with head office and open a claim for insurance. Well that has been going on for 6 weeks and we think they are just scamming us that there is no communication with any insurance. We will now call police and put in a theft report.

We had this company move us, this is second time to post review, last review removed, service was horrible, they were slow and very unprofessional, 5 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment, we ended up making two trips with our truck to finish the move since they left things behind, some electronics went missing, valuables were broken, reported our complaints to company but they quickly dismissed them. Definitely not recommended.

Would rate 0 stars but not given the option. Our second move in 5 months, we changed movers because our initial movers left us with a broken vanity. However, during our second move we hired this company. Not only was the guy in charge" EXTREMELY rude

Do not use!!! Took 18 hours for an unfinished easy move!! Stole 5 expensive watches and we are just unpacking so who knows what else. Dented and damaged furniture and the owner Pete" is not responding to my messages. I wish I would of Googled this company because there are so many horror stories from Abbotsford branch of this company."

I am a Victim of the Rental Crisis in BC. Shortly before I had to leave my home of over 23 years and my job of 20 years working in the Building - The Tenants, Most of the Owners and their Families and Pets were all like family to me - I met Dustin as he was moving in a family next to my old apartment - He heard my story and was so kind and efficient with the move he was doing and told me they would try to help me when I had somewhere to go. I had to couch surf in Abbotsford for a few months and moved to a basement suite in the blizzard just before Christmas.It was short notice but I called 2 Small Men with Big Hearts and asked if it was possible for them to help me and if it was possible for Dustin to come as I truly admired his compassion. My Cat and I had no way to even get to the suite we were going to. I do not have a car.Dustin and Mike came - they could not have been nicer - they helped me get my poor traumatized cat into his kennel (which was not easy) and Dustin rode in the back with my cat and I rode with Mike. We had the most interesting conversation and I cannot thank them enough. I highly recommend them to anyone making a move. They were beyond caring and fast and very very good at their job. Thank You Dustin and Mike and Thank You Peter - the only Moving Company I would ever get or suggest to others.Colleen Frank

We chose to go with three movers instead of two and we are sure glad we had them! We had a 10x10 storage unit and a small basement suite to move into a three bedroom townhouse. They called the morning of to let us know their estimated arrival time to the storage unit and I met them there. They finished emptying and securing the storage unit in less than an hour and then we headed to my place to grab the rest.They were done everything in 3.5 hours and even helped put the bed together. I would definitely recommend and will use them again!

1st - They were over 1 hour late / they took a lot of breaks and charged me for it / $1200.00 of items magically went missing / they took over an hour to do a 20 minute drive, said they gassed up but I personally think they just dropped off the items that magically went missing somewhere and looked through other boxes. This company dragged my king bed on dirty surfaces along with my couch, plus broke my couch. So far I haven't found my $2000.00 watch either. Please do not use this company, they didn't even offer any solution or a price break at all for this. They just said make a police report and they'll cooperate. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY
