Got here 11:15 apparently the entire place closes at lunch because everyone in the building take lunch at the same time, waiting outside in the hot sun was told maybe 2 pm i will be out of here. I HATE THIS PLACE AND EVERYONE WHO WORKS IN IT

KELLY thats the name of most rude RACIST c.s.r i have ever dealt withHi there. I am making a formal complaint with regards to a c.s.r that works at 232 guelf street service Canada office. Her name is Kelly.At approx 1030 amShe called me to her cubicle before saying anything she said i hate it when clients turn and face us and stare at us"I have anxiety and depression which i am seeing a specialist for. There was a reason why i turned and faced the cubicles as i did not want to look outside the window. She was completely rude ti me from the get go. The harsh tone not only was with me but with all other clients. I am dissapoited to say this but RACE also had a fact with this as well. She was so kind to all the caucasian clients but extremely rude to all the south asian black clients. I will also be contacting my specialist as well as this contributed to my mental functions."

Applied for a passport for the first time, came in with all of my documents and had an appointment. Very pleasant experience between the friendly security and nice woman at the desk who served me. It wasn't at all busy when I went in, there were just a few walk-ins standing outside the door, but not many people inside the building. I was let in right away because I had an appointment.If you're not too far from this location and you're struggling to book an appointment online, I highly recommend this location. It was the only location that didn't have a 2 month waiting period for available appointments when I went to look on the government of Canada website. I was also able to book my appointment 40 hours before it took place.

It was overall a wonderful experience while applying for Canadian Passport in Service Canada Georgetown for my family. I reached in approx at 810 am and had to wait for 20 minutes. Kelly from Service Canada was very nice, humble and able to help me with any assistance provided and it was a great pleasure to meet her and she assisted with all the formalities very well. The process was pretty smooth and completely painless.

I showed up at 2:20pm without an appointment on a Wednesday to get my passport renewed. It turned out to be a quick and painless process. I was in and out in 20 min, having to wait about 10 min in a lineup of 4 people. I’m not sure what all the terrible reviews are about. I’m sure that post-lockdown long lines and anyone arriving without really taking the time to make sure they have everything filled out properly would throw everyone off and make everyone that much more impatient. Fortunately that was not my experience. It’s worth noting that I made sure to arrive ready with all the paperwork pre-filled out and 2x checked before hand. I also came prepared with a mask. The security man was really kind and the rest of the staff were efficient. Definitely recommend going later in the afternoon to avoid the lines we keep hearing about.

Arrived about 8:10 am, sixth in line….doors opened 8:30 and I was leaving at 9:30. Those working were all pleasant and very helpful. Pretty long lineup when I left at 9:30. I came as a walk-in. Be sure to arrive in time to be seen before they close for lunch break from 12-12:30.

1)Worst experience ever had all we have to do is just wait outside in a huge line in cold weather. Don’t have the curtsey to at-least let people stand inside People are shivering in cold.2) Appointment are not available online.3) No one responses on calls.4) less employees to complete the tasks

Worst experience! Lady sitting in the 2nd counter don’t know how to talk and treat people. she just through people out. I went there to update my SIN, she telling me to do online why you come here blah blah and asking racism questions about family name and didn’t done my work and she telling everyone to do it online don’t come here! Should take the serious action against her coz i saw everyone in the review section faced the same problem and give zero rating!

I experienced the absolute worst customer service in my life at this location. The rep named Karina was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Called me a liar, yelled at me, and was plain rude. My wife forgot to sign in a location on her passport forms. I told her I would get her to sign and come back to finish the paperwork shortly. She assumed I was going to go outside, forge her signature, and return to finish the renewal application after I told her she was outside (she was grocery shopping across the street). At which point she demanded my wife come inside to sign in person, yelled at me to call her and tell her to come in. I took my forms and walked out. Refused to deal with her moving forward. And very shortly after, my wife and I returned to complete the application with someone else. If I could give this place a 0 out of 5, I would. I feel sorry for the people who work with this woman on a daily basis. Terrible experience, and autrocious customer service. Would love to file a formal complaint.
