1840 Farmhouse & Vineyard

My first experience here was at a lovely vintage market held a few Sundays back. I LOVED the atmosphere! So much so, I came back the very next weekend to celebrate a 30th, I had messaged asking if there was anything they could do to ensure it was a special experience for the birthday girls and boy was I delighted upon arrival! They had set up the most adorable seating area for us and had wine ready and chilled for the table.The service and scenery is absolutely wonderful and I cannot recommend this place more !!

Beautiful property and wine. Lovely owners. Can’t wait to return. Love when they have pop up vendors always a great way to try new foods. Great selection of wines.

We just returned from our first experience at 1840 Farmhouse & Vineyard and WOW!! What a great experience. Incredibly laid back and knowledgeable husband and wife team. We were able to enjoy a tasting followed by a glass of wine while exploring the property. Our two daughters loved playing in their play area. There isn’t another spot like this! Shout out to sweet Margaret who gave our oldest a tour of the horse area/garden. What a gem! We cannot wait to return with more family, try some more wine, and further explore this amazing vineyard right in our backyard. You have both clearly spent so much time and resources making this farmhouse and vineyard all that it is. Way to go!!

What an amazing surprise! A beautiful spot with excellent wines. Their 2021 Gallop (Baco Noir - Cab Franc) was exceptional!!!! Horses, pony, fun for kids. Worth repeat visits!

Attended a vintage market here and everything was absolutely wonderful! The wine, the pizza, the staff, the property and it's historical buildings, animals wandering around. Awesome day! So glad clarington has a destination like this now.

Tried their wine at the farmers market so decided to go to the farmhouse for the wine tasting. We weren’t disappointed. Friendly staff and very passionate/knowledgeable owner. Gave us very interesting information on the hybrid vines. All the wines we tasted were very good. Everybody should try this winery, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing hospitality and casual atmosphere. It’s just fun sitting in a comfy chair sipping wine and watching chickens. Try it out.

I recently photographed an event at 1840 Farmhouse & Vineyard and it was an awesome experience! Driving down the lane feels like taking a step back in time. The old farmhouse on one side and the updated barn on the other, surrounded by rolling vineyards, made for a ton of unique place for photos. Looking forward to more events here!

I recently hosted a small bridal shower at 1840 Farmhouse and Vineyard. I worked with Alexandra to coordinate and she was fantastic! Alex is so easy to work with, lovely to talk to and she made the night perfect. Our hostess for the night was Virginia and she was also so lovely to work with. I highly recommend 1840!

My husband and I stopped in for a little Apres Ski after being out on the slopes at Brimacombe. We arrived a bit early but we were welcomed with a warm hello! We enjoyed a tasting of a few wines and settled down with a bottle of Red and some chips/salsa.We were able to have our bottle re corked so we could bring the rest home with us! We also picked up a variety pack of baked goods from krumbs breadery that were sooo good!Fabulous service and a nice atmosphere. We'll be back!
