Ricky’s is one of our go to’s when we travel. Our kids are always excited to order the mac and cheese! Unfortunately this location has terrible customer service. No hello, ignored my daughter when she tried talking to her, had a disgusted look on her face. We were so disappointed we ended up leaving.

Either the waiter (who had absolutely zero personality) can't take an order properly or the cook doesn't care what he serves. Food was disgusting and I walked out. Will not be back!

My grandfather and I went to Ricky's yesterday for lunch. He is a diabetic and needed to eat.The food was good. I had a burger and fries and when it got to the table it was nice and fresh and the fries were piping hot and cooked just right.The waitress was quite personable and friendly.The only issue I had was how long it took. I had a busy day scheduled and only had about 45 minutes to eat but I thought how long can it take for a burger and fries?My grandfather had something akin to a beef dip sandwich, again pretty straightforward.It turns out that ordering and getting your straight forward basic meals takes a very significant amount of time.There was also an extremely long wait just to get the food. From the time we walked in till the time we finally paid was about 1 and 1/2 to 1 and 3/4 hours.I sat there with my wallet in one hand and my credit card in the other hand for about 10 minutes till she even came to the table and this was after she already cleared all the dishes. There was, I believe, only one other occupied table at this point in time.As a side note we got there at around 12:55 and there was probably only three other tables that had people at them so they definitely were not overly busy.So the food was excellent, the waitress was definitely pleasant but unless you have a couple hours to eat a basic (but tasty) meal don't go here.

The grand forks breakfast is the bomb and if you don't want the pancakes because it is a big breakfast they will gladly give you an extra piece of bacon yum yum and it is fantastic

Ordered the Fish & chips and shrimp plate. Fish & chips was excellent. Shrimp was a bit over done but palatable. The coleslaw looked yummy, but could not chew it. One of the few times I haven't been able to chew the salad. The Fat Burger next door had music blaring while they cleaned up. I was seated next to the separation wall. Between the music from both sides was not a pleasant experience.

First visit, I brought out of towners in for lunch. Amazing all around, large portions, nice presentation, and real" delicious food. I had a clubhouse - and the 5 stars from me was that it was made with real roast turkey (not the horrible deli turkey) Will definitely come back!"

My husband and I both have different food allergies! They were able to accommodate us! The wait staff was great! As with anyplace just be sure to question if you see anything that is unusual. I got sauce on a bowl I ordered and with my dairy allergy I often cannot have sauces! They quickly replaced my food and it was quite pleasant! I would totally go again!
