Five Star Cafe
Always a casual, friendly place to have a hot or cold beverage. A real espresso or a wide selection of spirits ,beer, and wine. Service is prompt and check out the signature sandwiches or an assorted selection of deli meats and cheese.

Extremely customer driven, very personable owners who take pride in creating the best experience possible. Very prompt on service and always handling any complaints (if any) professionally happen to arise and suggestions on improvement are always listened to and taken into consideration. I cannot say enough good things about my time at the 5 star cafe

Five stars for Five Star. Excellent setting. One of the few spots left to enjoy James North in the same way it's been enjoyed for decades. Sidewalk patio open during warm weather.

Down home, unpretentious, warm and friendly hangout. Inexpensive drinks, delicious espresso. Snacks available, or bring your food. Come for the company, not the decor. Couple games are always on the televisions. Hipsters need not bother, it's too real.

The definition of a classic bar! It's a small but cozy place with fair prices on drinks. Amy the bar tender is great at her job and makes you feel welcome all the time. It's like cheers but with a bit of Hamilton chic..

Ive been going to the Five star since 2009 and by far my favorite bar in Hamilton. Amy and Marco are great owners and treat you like family. Yes the customers can be odd or rowdy etc but its a bar. Im glad yuppies and hipsters steer clear from it. I just love to have a couple of beers after work in peace without hearing some yuppies claptrap. Five out of five. Rightly fitting
