Mot's Machining

Brought the crank for a vintage bike to be trued - was done the next day and price was more than reasonable. Person who did the work was also an enthusiast and had a great conversation as well. Will be returning for any special engine work needed!

Bought a 96 formula 500 off a buddy knowing it didn’t run, I took the head off to find the top end needed re done. A couple guys told me to call Mot’s. Took the machine to Mot’s and they had the sled running again in a week! Sled starts first pull and I couldn’t be happier. Will definitely recommend Mot’s to anyone needing work done.

I've been to Mot's twice now, one for a fork rebuild last year on my Suzuki GSX-650F and this year for a spring service, oil change and coolant flush. They did an amazing job on the rebuild and most importantly, are super fair on their pricing/billable hours. You will not feel like you got surprised or screwed here, ever. I won't be going to the big-box motorcycle dealer service departments anymore when I can get service this good and at a fair price. Well worth the price of admission, highly recommended, a gem.

In august 25th 2021 i brought in a top end of a 1982 it175 motor aaking for a 1981 sleeve with no piston, they said they ordered it right in front if me when i dropped it off, they said 4 till pickup. I called them in november asking what was going on with 0 contact, they told me they didnt have my engine and i brought it somewhere else, after 4 phone calls with absolute assurance they dont have it i had given up, they called me back saying sorry about that we found your engine" about 10 min later. I had asked to be put in the system and emailed so this never happens again

Had Motts swap engine cases on a 2016 kx450. Engine was returned with a cracked case and with parts missing/ Uninstalled. Had to pay labour to fix their mistake just to have the bikes engine fail hours after install. Save your time and money and stay away from these hacks.

Just took my BMW touring bike in for out of province inspection. I am so impressed with Mot's ... these guys do awesome work and I TRUST them. Prices were most reasonable and total straight shooters. Will be my only future bike service shop, having just moved to Edmonton. Would not consider going anywhere else.Thanks guys!John

Tom and chad did a perfect job on my honda 125m cyl. head and found the hard to find valves that needed replacing, they went that extra mile to help me out and the price was reasonable also thanks again, Vaughan.

I have called this shop over 10 times in last 45 days. No answering machine, POOR service. I brought a bike in to get work done to be ready for an inspection. I don't know much about bikes so I listed some things I was aware of but the rest I asked them to do. Assuming they did their jobs they said it need fork seals and some other things ( not an issue) Was told 2 weeks. 6 weeks later and multi calls trying to follow up it still wasn't done. (they didn't know the fork size...finally got a hold of them and they asked can we take the forks apart to measure.... its like sure .... you need to anyways to replace the seals.. .so why not ... could of measured and moved on saved weeeks of time ) now the bike is at another shop doing the inspection. I found out the FORKS were not Rebuilt as the bill states. I have called 10 times in 20 days with only 2 pick ups ... Was promised call backs..nothing. was promised a solution to them not fully doing the work..nothing. was promised an email from TOM .. nothing .. just trash services.. all Im asking is a proper call and a solution to the work that was NOT performed or done in a timely promissed manner ."

I can't say enough about this place. Great guys (and girl), Great rates, very professional and efficient. Other places tried to hose me, but Tom and his crew were awesome!! They make you feel like a valued customer rather than just a number. And they saved me ALOT of money. Plus, it feels good to support locally owned small business. You sure don't get service like that in the big shops! These guys will be the ONLY ones that will ever touch my bike again. Thanks guys...Great work!

These guys do all my machining for me to rebuild people's toys... they're great to work with, and very knowledgeable!
