Atelier Forma
I took a 1 day intro to wheel throwing class with Atelier Forma. The class was well organized, the instructor was kind, patient, and offered excellent yet gentle feedback. I will definitely be back to take another class soon, hopefully in a Level 1 Wheel Throwing workshop - they fill up fast which is a sign of an excellent teaching space! Thank you, we will see you again soon.

I had very little clay experience when I first took the intro-to-wheel class at Forma. With the incredibly patient, caring and lovely studio staff, I was able to explore my creativity in a supportive and passionate environment, and now am so happy to say I have a full-time practice in my own little studio space. Thank you Atelier Forma for nourishing me with your passion and knowledge, and for providing a safe haven for those who seek a break in the fold of intellectualism and consumerism in order to reconnect, hands-in-clay, with our innate power to create. Love you alllll !

I took this two hour workshop on how to learn to use the wheel for pottery. I loved it, the teacher, I believe her name was Laure , was very informative and patient. I would take this course again.

perfect place for a private event! I booked a private beginner's pottery throwing class for 8 people as a bachelorette party activity and we had an absolute blast! the instructor, Nomi, was knowledgeable and engaging, and did a fantastic job teaching us the basics in such a short time frame. the space is clean, bright and welcoming, with the amazing smell of coffee from the adjoining cafe coming in. the cost of the private class was extremely reasonable, we would absolutely go back the next time we're in montreal.

A friendly and relaxed place to learn pottery. I took an intro to wheel throwing workshop and the teacher was kind, calm and patient, and helped me to make pieces I was very happy with!

Despite my first time taking wheel throwing class, I enjoyed every part of it; instructor was super clear when explaining and loved the overall vibe. I would definitely come back in near future to try more classes.

We had a great time here! I celebrated my birthday with some friends and did a private wheel throwing event with Sarah, she was such a good teacher and we had an amazing time. 10/10 recommend. Thank you again!

Loved the intro to wheel throwing workshop! Well worth the money, time flew by it was so much fun! Not as easy as it looks but the teacher was great and definitely knowledgeable and able to help you shape your pieces if you need the help. A bit far out for me to travel, would LOVE if they opened more stores in montreal/ closer to me, I'd be there all the time!

Fabulous, clean, inovative, creative. After a year of continuing to work with the fabulous team at Atelier Forma and their new studio on St-Laurent, I’ve realized they deserve 5 stars, I would give them 6 but the site won’t let me.
