Thai Express Restaurant Mississauga
I had the General Thai Beef meal with rice ($13). It was OK, the beef had a weird taste and was very hard, almost like it was deep fried. I also thought there was a little bit too much sauce on it because the rice at the bottom of the box was practically swimming in it. I went around noon and it was pretty busy but the service was pretty quick, was in and out in about 10 minutes. There is lots of parking available but can get a bit tricky finding a spot around lunch peak. The space is pretty small, does have a handful of tables for sitting in and it was clean when I went in. I really like that you can see behind the counter and how your food is being made. Overall it was an alright experience, I may come back but don't think it will be any time soon.

Ankit Bharti is excellent at what he does. He was so patient and helping made me choose my menu and made such good meal for me. I will go back definitely and have Ankit make my dish again.

Horrible customer service skills. Used to like this location but it’s been awful lately. Last time I was in I was ignored for 5 minutes before I finally left to go somewhere that’ll actually acknowledge my existence. The time prior I made a large order (4 entrees), was waiting for over half an hour! I missed my entire break and didn’t even get to eat my food till about 2 hours later. Sad thing was it was ready prior but the guys were never called out that my order was ready (yet they called out every other order made after). The food tastes good but it’s hard enjoy it over the bad taste this service has left in my mouth

I stand behind Thai Express. Their food is great. This location just needs to revisit their cooking and finishing touch. I order Pad See Ew all the time at all Thai express. The noodles here taste undercooked and raw- you know the feeling, harder to chew into. And their sauce is just watered down... this is supposed to be and tasteful dish, instead I felt I was eating noodles with broth... pictures belowGuys, just take a gander at other locations and how they prepare their sauces and cook. We need the sauce to stick to the noodles for the flavour.Thanks

I walked in expecting the same great taste of Thai Express that they're known for - but this place utterly missed that. The place looks like a dump passed the counter, with boxes and non-functional drink machines. The two staff members working there both had ear pieces in their ear, and were more concerned about what was on their phone than the customers. After placing my order, the staff members went to the back to continue their discussion, and only came to the front to start cooking the food about 6 minutes later.The food taste was incredibly poor - a newbie could have put something better together. Very disappointed that the owner has let this place run down to the ground like this.

Ok so be aware I have contacted head office over this review.I ordered the beef pad Thai spicy gluten free. It tasted different than usual and not long after eating I felt feverish which is a sign I was given gluten. Which means they used the wrong sauce. Also the limes in the container all looked used and almost grey. Plus it smelled putrid. On top of that the box of food I got was only 3/4 full. I have attached photos.

Food is fine but a lack of attention to allergens was disappointing. Ordered gluten free option and still got tofu within. The staff confirmed that the food wa gluten free when it was picked up and wasn’t discovered until we got home. For people with sensitive allergies it’s important to understand what is gluten free and what isn’t if you offer GF.

If you want a quick, flavourful Thai meal, Thai Express is a great place to go. A franchise operation, this location did not disappoint. Had the same TE flavour all through.Food at this chain is always good. The size of the box can deceive you. The quantity is enormous. One can have two meals out of it. Great flavour, good spice levels and tasty. Would recommend this place

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! They don’t understand customer service. All tables were dirty. No proper welcome. Ordered the shrimp coconut bowl and the shrimp had a foul smell. We asked if we could replace it with a veggie dish. They asked: Are u gonna pay for it? We got disgusted and asked for a refund and they wouldn’t give it to us. Very dirty place. Don’t come near it. Risk FOOD POISONING!!!
