Absolutely amazing staff who despite near closing time all teamed up to sort through my bags of clothes after I was initially turned away since it was so late getting there until I asked one of the staff members if they could at least go through one of my bags and see if there was anything inside as I needed gas and hadn’t ate in 2 days and they all immediately teamed up and made an exception for me due to my situation as I was homeless and living out of my truck at the time. Amazing teamwork between the employees and beyond amazing generosity and kindness. This is for now on my go to buy and sell store.

I went to this place with quite a bit of clothing, shoes and purses. I was told that the clothes were too dressy and they don't take them and was offered a place that would. Ok, great. But right after that, NONE of the remaining items were looked at. Items that were very recent and covered the criteria for the store. Adidas and a lot more items on their pamphlet. None of it looked at. Just put aside, as if they had looked. But they did not care to. They'd already made their minds up, totally ignoring what i had placed in front of them. Waste of my time. Too bad. I was planning on spending a lot of money there. I do think they have a great selection and the items of mine they overlooked will be sold elsewhere. Never returning. I've got no time for people like that. Snobby, lazy kids with no customer service skills are not ideal when the entire crew consists of such. They look like they are waiting to die.

Every time I’ve been to this location I’ve been nothing but disappointed.Workers are too young to be working there and when it comes to selling your clothes, they judge based on what styles and brands THEY like. Ive brought them brand new clothes with price tags still attached, from the mall and from high end brands, and they told me it was out of style. Im younger myself, and I purchase trendy clothing. It makes no sense considering I look around while waiting and see the same styles on the shelves of their store.Also while viewing their store, I saw multiple fakes, and cheap mass production brands like Shein. Whats disappointing is that they sell cheap clothes that are 5$ new for 15-20$. OUTRAGEOUS!!!!They should fire these kids and find people who are older and more responsible.

Always great finds at Plato’s for a reasonable price. The main con to this place is if you donate clothes it takes hours for them to go through it but you’re required to come back and pick up your stuff before they close which can be a massive waste of your time. They also won’t donate the items they decide not to take which is kind of ridiculous since their locations are literally beside a Good Will or around the corner from Value Village. I have known many other consignments who will donate whatever they don’t keep, disappointing that Plato’s doesn’t have a better recycling philosophy.

Brought in 2 overflowing baskets of items today. Folded & clean. Not a single thing taken. “Out of style” lululemon that’s still being sold today? whatever. Not the issue. The issue is the fact that it was thrown back into the baskets like dirty laundry. Anything still folded was folded the same way I folded it, which means they didn’t even look at it. Won’t waste my time or my breath again. The girls working had zero people skills, you were not greeted, or addressed in the slightest.

I had an overall good experience selling and buying at this location. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Yes they buy your items for cheap but that is how they keep the prices at the store so low. I came here on a Friday morning and it took under an hour for them to look through my bin. I got $45 for 10 items overall happy!!

I brought a bag full of name brand clothes such as Hot Topic, H&M, TopShop, Ardene, Bench, Guess and Dollskill and they rejected my entire bag because of low demand". Many of these clothes still had tags on them as well. While I was looking around I found so many pieces that looked "out of style" that they had accepted. Was a total waste of time. I feel like the employees only judge clothes based on their own taste and what they'd wear themselves. No consideration for non "basic" clothing/styles. Disappointing and won't be back to shop:/"

It’s a thrift store for younger demographics (lots of those online stores) most of the items you can find online and get for similar prices, but it’s nice to have somewhere to go and look at quality.You will have to bother the staff a bit for anything you need- because they aren’t very proactive as employees, but they’re all really really young- I’m only 29 and I felt like I was elderly. They told me it would be an hour for my box of stuff- and that they would text me when done. I eventually came back two hours later and it was done, but I didn’t get a text lol. They only took 3 items but I think that’s fair, they take things that match their demographic. I’d go back but not if I had a time crunch.

Went here with large perfect quality mens cloths went to pick up they lied and took more than what they said so I got ripped off and also all my stuff was folded they shoved it in all messy and not how I gave it to them. They were not busy at all the store was dead empty and they took an hour and 30 min. DO NOT SELL YOUR STUFF HERE AT ALL NOT WORTH IT

I've been shopping here for a few years, and used to bring in a bin of clothes and get a great offer for lots of my items and always find good stuff to buy. The last year or so they've been EXTREMELY picky with drop offs, but their choices make no sense. It also depends who's working for how much/what they take. Browsing the racks you'll find stained, pilled, worn, ripped, outdated clothing and the odd good thing. Still a decent place to shop second hand, but don't waste your time dropping clothes off - the selling process has gone downhill.
