the veterinarians are fantastic and very knowledgeable. i have had plenty of positive experiences with the veterinarians at this practice.the front desk staff/vet technicians are hit or miss, some are very polite and kind, while others are short with their clients.for example, today I called to ask for advice because I found fleas on my dog that's already on an active flea prevention medicine. The vet tech was not helpful, said she didn't know what I should do, and concluded that it was not possible for my dog to have fleas if she was already treated. After getting a second opinion from a different vet practice, I have been informed this is possible, and called hitchhiker fleas". I thought I could call my own vet practice for help

Even the most glowing review would not do justice to what North End Animal Hospital did for me and my baby Hugo. We just moved to Halifax so I hadn't found a vet yet when Hugo needed emergency care - they were the only hospital around who said we could come in immediately. Over the next 5 days we were there 3 times, and I was always able to get an appointment the same-day, including one final visit when we had to say goodbye to Hugo. The care and compassion from Dr. Bell and Dr. Haggett and every member of the team I interacted with was incredible. Dr. Haggett explained all the options thoroughly and with so much care, I can't say thank you enough.

What can I say, I picked this clinic out of convenience, but Dr. O’Hanley saved my day. She was super reasonable and believed I knew what was best for my dog. Appreciated the service I got here today, she really went above and beyond and we might be new regulars :)

Such a great experience! I would recommend everyone takes their pets here, the vet was absolutely wonderful! Very reasonable prices and no pressure or upselling! I couldn't be happier with my experience, will definitely be returning for any further vet needs!

Roo always gets first class treatment from her favourite vet, Dr. Bell. Roo is quite timid going into new environments and Dr Bell always makes her feel comfortable!

We had an absolutely amazing experience, from the first interaction on the phone to the end of the visit. All the staff were extremely professional and courteous at all times, and they were very helpful with my Dog's issue, without forcing us to undergo unnecessary tests or treatments like I have experienced with past Vets. Would absolutely recommend them to everyone.

Dr O’Hanley is the best! She took great care and of my pooch and her eye issues. This vet clinic was very accommodating and reasonable. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. My new vet clinic!

We have been taking our dogs here since this hospital has opened. We are always so happy with their service. Special thanks to Blair who was extremely helpful, informative and professional in regards to our dog getting neutered today. Thank you Blair and to the whole team at North End Animal Hospital
