Too much Traffic Took about 1 1/2 hour to reach the Checkpoint but the officers are helpful. Took me about 15 mins to drive out because I didn't file I94 in advance.wish they opened more booths during the weekend peak

Bad experience coming back into the US. Showed the officer what food we had and still he slapped an orage slip on our vehicle. Didnt notice till we were walking into the office that he had already filled out our information. Not sure when he had time to do this. Seems like he had already slated us to get inspected. Inside they were nice and quick. Seems like the guy at the booth was not happy or something. Maybe cause my wifes from mexico and not a US citizen yet? Sure seemed like it. Going to Canada was a great experience but coming back we felt like we were criminals. Happens at the Mexico border too.

Every time I cross this border, it's the same: officers going into the USA are absolute jerks, and officers going into Canada are lovely. I hold a USA passport and NEXUS but that doesn't stop CBP officers asking me rude, completely inappropriate questions like why do you have that accent if you're American?" or "why do you live in Canada if you're an American citizen?" Gee I wonder why I don't live in the USA

I cross the Washington border dozens of times a year and usually take the Peace Arch crossing, never having an issues whatsoever. On Saturday, Jan 7th 2023, Waze routed me through the Blaine crossing. The crossing was poorly managed, with only 3 booths open but only two lines. This meant that the lane on the right would move significantly faster because it eventually splits into two.That’s fine, we patiently waited our turn in the slower line. When we finally pulled up to the booth, the officer looked at us and our vehicle for about 10 seconds before acknowledging us or taking our passports. He asked where we were going and we said to watch the Seahawks game. He asked us for tickets, but our friend has season tickets and we didn’t have a copy. He rudely retorted “if you don’t have tickets this is going to be a problem. This is an international border crossing, this isn’t Canada.” We’ve been to many Seahawks games and have never been asked for tickets, and our friend was driving on the highway. He had to pull over on the side of the highway and send us screenshots of the tickets.While we were waiting, he made racist comments as he could not make out the difference between my wife and her friend (both Asian), and kept saying “I’m sure the people behind you would love to get processed” - as if he wasn’t the one making a big fuss about the tickets. When we finally showed him the screenshot, he didn’t even look at it and threw our passports back at us. Extremely unprofessional and rude, we were nothing but respectful and willing to provide everything he was asking for. This man was clearly on a racist power trip.

Crossing from US to CanadaTraffic is poorly managed (all engines are on until cars reach the gate, there should be designated places to stop and go) and wait times are excessive, probably due to covid document check. All lanes but one appear to be staffed, they are just overwhelmed. I've waited almost an hour and this line is comparatively slow, so it could be another 30 minutes or so. Check web site before coming. I definitely would not have come had I known it would be like this here.

The officers are the most arrogant people I’ve ever met in my entire life. Extremely lazy and disrespectful officers, you can see them chatting with each other instead of helping people. Don’t know how they are able to keep their jobs.

Going into Canada from the US, they were super friendly, nice and polite. Entering back into the US felt like a criminal the officer made me cry and threatened me because I made a mistake. We then had to go into the office and the officer inside apologized and was super nice. I wish that officer at the gate that was rude all the best and I hope he changes his attitude

If you walk into the building at 3 AM like I did it’s very easy to get into the USA. Just showed them my passport, told them the reason for the stay, and on I went. The border worker even showed me the sidewalk into Blaine. Nice bunch in the dead hours of the night.

Crossed US to Canada early morning, very smooth checking. And returned back afternoon, an hour wait due to long line of passengers vehicles (might be due to end of holidays). Thanks to US Officers for their great attitude and patience.

I thought I had lost my Nexus card just before I was to get in the Nexus lineup in the station. Over the time looking for my card I had five different officers helping me by checking my car. Even a beautiful black lab dropped by to helpThey were fantastic, polite and and very attentive. I eventually found the card and proceed into the station to greeted by another most helpful officer.I want to thanks these officers for their services.
