Art Studio (not just) For Children

Nancy and her art studio are the ultimate gems in the city for kids and families that love art. My son has been going for 2 years now and he has such an amazing bond with her. She truly cares for the children she teaches. Also the artwork they create is impeccable and far beyond what one would expect from such young children, all under the creative leadership of Nancy. I have recommended her weekly classes to so many of my friends.

Nancy's studio instantly became one of the most cherished places for my son to get away from it all and immerse himself in art and self expression without judgement or pressure. The works he has brought home this Spring have all been hung on our walls with pride. They're full of emotion and honesty and they bring joy to us each day. They are also impressive works indicative of the special gift Nancy has for teaching fine art techniques with patience and love.

This was my daughter's third year attending Nancy's summer day camp at her beautiful farm property up north. Nancy's camp has been a highlight of my daughter's summer each time she's attended, and we are always beyond impressed at the incredible artwork she brings home at the end of the week. In addition to providing patient and encouraging instruction in order for the kids to be able to create these masterpieces, Nancy has a way of making each child feel special. Thank you, Nancy, for another great art camp experience!

Nancy helped my girls create a beautiful Original Family Portrait. The girls were so proud to show it off and we excitedly picked out a place in our home to hang it. They were so connected to it and told us about all the details. Thank you so very much for the time, effort, and thought you put into helping them create a timeless piece of art for our home, Nancy! I took part in the Heartworks Retreat and it was AMAZING! Nancy curated a day full of meaningful activities that truly fed my soul. From yoga on the dock to mindset coaching to creating and painting in a style that I have never tried before, it was absolutely magical. The food provided was delicious and she ensured that there were gluten free options for me. Nancy is an absolute delight and her property is magnificent. Thank you Nancy for such a rejuvenating experience!

Art Studio for Children was a wonderful experience on so many levels.First of all Nancy is so accomplished and well researched which makes for a confident student.Nancy was also so helpful in facilitating me finding my way around the canvas, the tools, the paint, the colour.Net/ net- I came away with a lot of learning enabling me to move forward on my own and a beautiful piece of art which I'll hang in my home.I highly recommend Art Studio For Children with Nancy.~ D

Nancy! What a patient and passionate magician of a teacher! Nancy was able to guide us in such a cohesive way to come together and create our original family portrait. Nancy has such a wonderful, creative, positive, fun and encouraging way to teach art to children and adults . My grandchildren loved learning to create with Nancy. They just finished one of the fabulous family portraits as a surprise Christmas present and are so excited!!I think I will be signing up for one of Nancy’s adult classes.

Our daughter joined Nancy for a week of camp in the Summer of 2022. She was 61/2 years old at the time. It was an absolute joy hearing about her fun filled days - yoga, swimming, games and - of course - the art. Every day at pick up she was smiling ear to ear and she didn't want to be late the following morning. Nancy and her team are WONDERFUL at making the kids feel welcome and engaged in whatever activity they are doing. At the end of the week, we were able to see the campers artwork. I was blown away. This was the only camp our daughter asked about this year - which confirmed for us how much she truly enjoyed her experience! Thank you again Nancy.
