Hessey Bros Plumbing

We recently needed a new water heater drain valve. My husband was able to drain the tank and remove the defective part, and then spent much time trying to find a new one. Most places he called either did not carry the part, or were not willing to sell to the public. When he phoned Hessey Bros Plumbing, they were incredibly helpful and gracious, suggested an alternative part to our original choice as a better option, and even delivered the part to our home since they live nearby. We were so impressed by this amazing service, and would strongly recommend this company to anyone!

We used Hessey Brothers Plumbing and Heating many times over the years, and always found them effective and reliable, as well as prompt and reasonably-priced. Their experience stood us in good stead when we needed to address plumbing and heating problems in a number of older homes in Old North.

If you need plumbing service find any other company, the experience i had with Hessey Bros Plumbing was just horrific. I called to get my hot water heater fixed as it had hot water in it but was not distributing it through out my house. They showed up and claimed to have fixed it but half an hour after they left the issue still was there. I then called and tried to get more assistance for them to come and fix it correctly this time and was met with a very rude receptionist who told me that it was not there problem anymore and i needed to find someone else to have it fixed again. I was amazed by the sheer lack of care they have for there customers after failing to complete a job correctly. Overall just a horrible experience. Don't make the same mistake I did and find a different company to fix your plumbing issues.

I've used Hessey Bros Plumbing twice now for boiler work on my 100 year old house. Both times they were professional, friendly, and very efficient. They took the time to answer all my questions on my system.

Despite being recommended as one of the few companies in town that specialize in boilers, we have been very disappointed in Hessey Brothers' service. We contacted Hessey Brothers two weeks ago and were promised heat last week. They asked for half payment up front and now we have been told that the job won't be completed for another week. That will be a month without heat, and we have no recourse as we have already paid them. Buyer beware.

I must be stupid to be giving an excellent local plumbing firm a good review. I'm lucky that they had time for me and my quirky antique cast iron hot water radiators that keep me warm and happy.
