Urgent care recommended me this place.. They were all students to me they were not knowledgeable i screwed up my back during factory work they told me it was a popped rib and needed treatment (if i had a popped rib i would have been in more pain or not be able to move) -said my family doctor so she checked me out instantly told me my rib wasint popped at all and that i had soft tissue injury. I should have went to my doctor first! So they misdiagnosed me and i got stuck with the bill (they told me wsib would for sure pay for it but i got declined) they called collections on me. never went back

I was referred to Main Street Health Recovery after a visit to the ER when I had a bad fall. I was grateful for a short wait time between the injury and the assessment appointment at the clinic, as it often can take weeks to have a referral to go through. The short wait time was the only thing positive about the clinic. There was a significant language barrier between the physiotherapist and I. He was very hard to understand. His assessment consisted of a few pokes and pathetic manipulations of my arm. He did very little questioning of how I sustained the injury, nor seemed to be interested in what type of pain I was feeling. When I asked what the treatment plan would be, he showed me two exercises that I could try 'if I wanted to'. No instruction on frequency or duration of the exercises.I left feeling very confused, not knowing how I should proceed with the therapy. The clinic itself looked fine and I'm sure many people have received wonderful care there. I expect that a medical professional conducting assessments should have the ability and skill to communicate with their patient. Based on his inability to do so, I will not continue going to Main Street Health Recovery for further treatment.

My mother and I was involved in a rear-end MVA September 2020. I was given a list of physiotherapists from my lawyer, and contacted Main Street Health. Assessment was completed prior to treatment the following month. The physiotherapist, Prakash Patel, used electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) and heating pads to areas of pain for 30 minutes at each appointment. Two times, we were shown exercises to relieve muscle pain. Could it have been better? Perhaps. My mother now goes to a physiotherapy clinic covered under OHIP and loves the range of motion (ROM) exercises they perform. At one point, I expressed to Prakash that I had anxiety while being in a vehicle and a referral was made to Baskakova Psychology. I began psychological sessions with one of their counselors, Mr. Andrew Hinkle. At the beginning, sessions were normal, but over time went from strange, annoying to just plain unprofessional. Countless times he would spend extended amount of time talking about himself. One time he questioned why he was unable to reach me two separate occasions, and when I answered him, he seemed satisfied, informing me to provide a 24 hour notice in the future. He then complained to Main Street Health who then contacted my lawyer, to whom I basically repeated myself and what he explained to me. Next, were the text messages he would send (weekends and even minutes before I had to call him). One text message he sent was: You'll call me right?". I still have these texts on my phone. When I reminded him that I don't want him to send personal texts to me

My mother was refer to Main Street Physio by a doctor from St. Joseph's Hospital. The doctor gave us the referral and told us that someone would be contacting us in the days to come. To my surprise, as we left the hospital they called to book a consultation visit. The person who help us book the consultation was very accommodating and got my mother an appointment within a couple days.Due to work schedules, neither my sister or I could take my mom in for her appointment, which made me very uneasy. I called my mother after her appointment and asked how it went. She said the front desk staff helped her with all her paperwork and all of her insurance questions. Appointments were set up for the following week before she even left. Weeks later I came to pick my mother up and met her [physiotherapist Sherry. She was extremely easy going and nice.Only negative is that it is a very busy place. Parking is hard to find and there are a lot of patients in the office.Overall great experience!

I followed Samantha here from her previous job in Brantford. Her massage skills are worth the drive! Very professional and knowledgeable, you won't be disappointed. Through a referral from Samantha, I now see Dr. Tester, Chiropractor. After just the first visit, I already had relief from my back pain! Highly highly recommend these two!
