Nice clean location. Their produce section always seems fresh. It's a little pricier than some other stores but I still like to go here from time to time

I attended the Peterborough Lansdowne Street location yesterday and was at the deli. Not only was there no one working (I was there around 5:50/6:00pm), but no one showed up even after informed there was a customer waiting - regardless that was not my main concern. What I found myself most concerned about was the unopened packages of Angus cooked roast beef that were left hanging out on the counter. I am not sure how long these were left out, but given the fact that nobody was anywhere to be found and judging by the bag of blood that has formed around them, it was some time. People are going to get very sick. This is disgusting and as a customer I am appalled to see this.

The prices are likely one of the, if not THE, most expensive place to shop.However, their store is perfect. It's laid out well, it's fancier looking, their produce and fruits are always fresh, it's clean and the majority of the staff are friendly.I would shop there more often if their prices weren't so high. They also still give out covid test kits.Lots of parking and the outside is always kept clean. I rarely even so much as see a cigarette butt on the ground there.

The layout of the store is not ideal. Where most grocery stores have a main aisle with aisles off of it this store has several circular sections. Most disappointing was the placement of their plant-based products. The plant-based products are placed next to...of all things...the lamb chops. This was either done in spite of people that don't eat meat or just with zero thought about who is buying plant-based products.

It was really expensive but decent produce. I wasn't overly pleased with the meat options and aisle set up didn't always make a lot of sense.

The store itself is usually fine, but the lady working in the bakery is absolutely miserable. She is so unbearably rude that it makes me avoid this store and warn others about her. Such a shame too, as the young folks working in the deli, flower department and on cash are lovely. But bakery lady really needs to be let go.
