We've been going to see Kristen and Jeremy for years. This is our go to place for furniture and yard supplies. We always get asked if we need anything when we walk in and if they don't have what we want they get it in or help us pick something we like. We have had a great experience with our purchases. From our custom couches to the vanities in our bathrooms. We also don't get ignored when we're shopping there unlike some other hardware stores in town.

I have been coming here several times for almost a year now I always find what I need. I enjoy the old school, peaceful setting of a good old neighbourhood hardware store. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Seem like a lot of the negative reviews come from people who have really have no reason to be there in the first place. Thanks Cox!!

This place is a mess. I can't understand how it got rated 5 stars??? Their items look like they have been sitting there for year without moving, all cover in dust. Expensive price compare with the quality they offer. Some staff are helpful but truth is, they don't really know what they're doing.... The cashier always has his mask hanging on one of his ears...I would never shop here again.

As a contractor I hate myself everytime I'm nearby and think I should come here instead of Rona. The store is dark, half the staff is miserable, and you can bet they aren't going to have something on your list and you'll be headed to Rona anyways. Worst home hardware in Niagara.

Very organized an customer service very helpful

Went in for something they didn't have in stock. The staff were super helpful and in the end, they ordered it for me. This is my usual experience with this place, super helpful and approachable. I love going there over the larger hardware stores for that reason.The reason I dropped a star for this visit is that the cashiers' masks were dangling from their ears. They also allowed someone in the store without a mask... Fortunately I am fully vaccinated and the store wasn't at all crowded so I didn't feel uncomfortable. I would have, though if that weren't the case.

To everyone who complains about this store, take your business over to Rona across the city and go speak with the 16 year old kids working there who can't even tell you what a hammer looks like! This store is by far my first stop everytime! Every single employee who works here is always in good spirits regardless of what people are saying! Go walk into the plumbing department and Jim will tell you exactly what you need and even help you trouble shoot your issue. Go to the paint department and Kristin is more then knowledgeable about whatever your need is. All the other employees have been amazing to me and have always been there to help! Jeremy the owner has also been amazing with me as a business owner myself. Every employee in this store is truly great and for anyone to say there is NEVER anyone around your wrong. Rona on the other hand you can go stand at a contractors desk and wait forever or have to interrupt a conversation between 3 employees just to get help. During the lock down I watched all these employees go back and fourth like crazy trying to get everything everyone needed cause we couldn't go in the store and people still complained! If your a grumpy and miserable person who's had a bad day do me a favour and don't take it out on Google review to a hardware store who's employees are truly great employees. In case people haven't noticed this store has employed the same employees for years and do you know why? Cause they are good at what they do!

Hit or miss on stock. Dusty shelves, including the kitchen supply area.

Always find everyone extremely helpful!! They see me coming and walk me around the store with my list to help me find just the right items. Terry & Scott are always quick to offer suggestions & offer lots of recommendations on the projects over the many, many years that I have been going to this location. I even had a staff member, Jim, come to my rescue when I had a little meltdown in the store due to a renovation gone bad. Thank You for your help & kindness. I am eternally grateful.

Waited yesterday at front checkout after another customer walked out because the guy was talking with his friend having coffee clearly looking over at me from the lumber desk. When I asked if anyone was at cash he said why. I said to buy something? Slowly shuffled his way over well talking behind him to his buddy and acted like I was a inconvenience. Went today in the morning asked about mulch well checking out and got huffed at because it had to be looked up. Pretty sad. I don't mind paying abit more to a family run business but I guess from now on I will make the extra drive to Rona. Hopefully you don't lose any more customers.
