Heiwa Oriental Market
I searched the whole city high and low for an onigiri mold. I could tell you a long and tragic tale about this adventure. I finally caught wind of this place during my travails, and sure enough, they indeed stock onigiri molds. After much fruitless searching, they are mine, at last.Consider me a very satisfied customer!

Heiwa Oriental Market
This is my favourite asian grocery store (mainly Korean). The couple that runs the shop is kind and helpful, and the wife makes AMAZING banchan (side dishes). My favourites: seasoned tofu, fish cakes, and kimchi. I don't live close but try to visit every week. The banchan goes quickly so I often miss out on the good stuff, but when I see it, I buy all of it LOL

Very helpful couple that run the place. I don't have much to add to the approving comments of other users. The woman who owns it (sorry I have forgotten her name) also teaches the occasional cooking class in the neighbourhood and her passion for her profession shows through in the shop as well. I have had a few excellent suggestions from her. It's much more fun to shop here than at Sobeys! You get what the business stiffs call - without really knowing what it means - added value"."
