Food was MIDS, cookie was no cookie it was basically a cracker with 2 chocolate chips on it, chow mein MEGA MIDS, if im being honest the rice was decent, the ice cream was by far the best thing in the entire buffet

I ordered delivery the other day, food came hot and supper fresh. this place never fails me! always fixes my need for chinese! singapore noodles are my fav lol

I am hard pressed to find decent Chinese food on the Prairies. I would rate these folks 2.5 stars as it was ok. Selection in my opinion was weak for the buffet and the person running the till could of used some help. Little frustrating waiting for them to take an order as well as deal with take out orders then finally get around to you waiting to pay.

The deep fryer is not hot enough. The shrimp/egg rolls are soaked with grease and it’s not a “one time” thing. The broccoli was soggy and,,,,well let’s not kick a dead horse. Save your money.

I will never eat here again. 1st things 1st, we showed up at 8 and they said they were closing but still wanted us to eat there and this wasn’t until after we had grabbed our plates. We checked the website and it showed it stayed open until 1 am that night. Not only were we rushed but we also got a lot of negative looks from the workers there. Other than the owner who was very nice and kind the other workers obviously had a problem with us coming in late. Now we barely had food to eat only a selection was left at the buffet which some of the food was very hard. Now we did not want to be rude so we just sucked it up and ate. The whole time still getting certain looks from the workers while eating. We were rushed, afterwards we were way over charged. I asked how much for three people they said only about 21$ per person and there was three of us. Now we had a pepsi each and my son had fries. All together it came up to 97$ dollars!!! I found this ridiculous! I tried to ask for a printed receipt but they said they were out of paper for the receipts. Tried calling the next day to figure out what the heck happened but apparently the owner would not be in for a while. Still have not talked to get this sorted out. I feel like I was scammed! Paying that amount for such awful service! Getting watched from basically the whole staff while we were eating. Terrible service, the food sat there for awhile. I did not know it would close so early as I said before the website said it was open until 1 am. I will probably never go back because of this one experience. The food was not even close to the price we paid. You would expect to have good hot food for paying that amount but nope. We got offered to get fresh food cooked but we already felt rushed and did not want to feel even more rushed. Not only did we not want to feel rushed but we were already getting dirty looks from some of the workers. It is not our fault we did not know it was closing time until we had already made our plates. If we knew beforehand we would have walked out. It’s like they purposely did this. I am sorry but never have I ever had to pay this amount even at some of the higher up restaurants such as Montanas. If I went there at least my food was cooked right then and there. Never felt rushed there either. I just want a printed receipt of everything we paid for. You’d expect them to give you one for paying such a high amount. The worker obviously scammed us because she did not want yo give us a printed receipt with everything on there. I will never eat at star house after this horrible experience!

Waitress sat us. Never came back to ask if we wanted a drink. But could go to every table around us. Hair wrapped around the broccoli from the pepper chicken. Waitress handled it horribly. We didn't even eat one plate and we paid over $38 still because as the waitress stated that could be Any customers hair" then laughed in our face. Should not have had to pay a single cent. Disgusting and horrible food and service . Get qualified staff."

The RUDEST customer service I’ve had in a long time. We called and were very kind and patient on the phone with the lady, she was short, cutting us off, ignoring our questions, and then pretended she didn’t hear us.. terrible service. You shouldn’t go here, it’s not worth the food. The food isn’t the best either.

Went there and had the buffet around 8, then I ended my day with food poisoning. Maybe I'm allergic to rice or I'm having a gluten intolerance but I do know that I got sick
