CRU - Bar à Huîtres
Excellent venue, fabulous, attentive service and nice relaxed atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The menu is beautifully crafted and this is the perfect place for people who love to share new discoveries. Amazing attention to detail on the sauces and garnishes gives the dishes intriguing flair without ever being pretentious. A lovely evening, can’t wait to visit again!

I enjoyed a very nice brunch here a couple of days ago. The service was excellent, so was the food. Fresh oysters, seared tuna and beef tacos paired nicely with good wine. Definitely a repeat for us as we are excited to explore the menu further.

Very good service with excellent staff. The menu is all what you can expect for such a nice place. I had some oysters with a great selection. And mussels with chips. The sauce of the mussels was excellent.

Had dinner with friends here and it was a great time for all. Food is amazing, very fresh and flavourful. We had good service but did notice it was quite long between servings. It seems like a very trendy place, music is low so no one is shouting. The sashimi plate was definitely a highlight and you can't go wrong with oysters and champagne

It was a last minute decision to have dinner here and I'm glad we did. Upon entering the restaurant, there was this air of modern elegance and was greeted by one of the wait staff, where he offered to take our coats.Since we arrived at 5:30PM, it was relatively empty (on a Sunday), so we were offered a table for 2 near the windows, which offered a nice view.The staff was attentive and overall provided a good service. The time in-between courses was just long enough for us to have a decent chat and rest.Most of the dishes were full of flavour and was well-cooked.The two downsides I could think of, was that the waiter didn't really inform us that the main dishes were pretty big and we did not manage to finish our main course. Having said that, they were nice enough to pack the leftovers nicely (still awesome as a leftover lunch).The other was when I rang last minute (at 5PM) to make a reservation and whoever answered the phone seemed unfriendly and quick to hang-up without asking for a name or saying goodbye (I understand that it's quiet, but still..). Not going to dock points for this, but something that could be improved on.Overall, I definitely recommend this place for any special occasion or if you decide to spoil yourself.

Excellence!!! Beef Tartare with Bone Marrow to dream for (compliments to the chefs) and best Gin and Tonic I have had. As a matter of fact, this drink (pictured) helped me change my mind in regards to gin and now it's one of my to go" beverages. The hamburger was also cooked to perfection.Service was excellent as well: the staff knows their menu very well and makes great recommendations based on your taste. They are attending to all of your needs (one of my friends is allergic to anything with peppers). The staff and the owner are also very friendly."

I found Cru to be a little overrated. While I understand that seafood is expensive, the only thing worth the price is the oyster platter.We were a group of people and none of us were impressed with the taste of our plates. Some even returned their plates.We waited 1hr to receive our main course after ordering. Although we were a group of people, we had ordered entries as well and I did not expect to wait that long for a plate of pasta or tartar. I can't complain about the waiter who was super friendly, however he never apologized for the delay and had no sense of urgency, which made it look like this wait time is just the standard for the restaurant.The place has potential but I don't think any of us will be returning unfortunately.
