Delicious ice cream, family-owned business & good people. The portion size was huge for the money spent, so value was through the roof, and the ice cream was so good. The owner served us himself and is truly passionate about his store. We ended up spending nearly an hour in his store chatting about ice cream and life, including the best brands in Ontario and Canada - I learned something new.He even offered us a taste of a wacky flavoured ice cream just for fun later on. It was a very fun experience & I will definitely return every time I’m in the area.

Excellent! They were out of the kinds I wanted; it was a hot and busy week. So I asked the employee to surprise me and she delivered. It was so good!! Will be coming back again for sure and letting them choose my flavour again. Great little spot.

This is an excellent stop for ice cream, LOTS of choice. Staff is super friendly. You will not regret stopping here for your ice cream fix.

Had a wonderful time in the shop. Owner was very funny and attentive to all customers that came in . My daughter dropped her free scoop half way through and he immediately surprised her with a scoop as she cleaned it up . He definitely didn’t have to do that . Great flavours great atmosphere great customer service !

Best ice cream shop anywhere, the old hound's staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they serve up a ridiculous amount of ice cream. A single scoop is far more than that.The flavours of I e cream here change often and are wonderful and creative.

Wow this place is a gem! We were driving by on our way home from a fishing trip and the adorable dog logo caught our eye. We promptly turned around and stopped in. The staff was lovely and holy cow the portions were humongous!! The value was amazing… although if we pass by this way again I will only get a single scoop next time… lesson learned. Well played The Old Hound… we will talk about you and your portion sizes for years to come.
