Atlas Animal Hospital & Emergency Vancouver

I was nervous to get my cat spayed here because of the bad reviews but I did it anyways as my regular vet quoted me 900. For microchip, spay (with IV) and her vaccine it was about $300 with pain meds. She healed perfectly. Service was just okay, it is what you would expect for such the cheap price but it is a great value. This place isn’t glamorous or perfect but I would come back.

The best vets in B.C! I’ve been taking my pup Kobi here for the past 2 years and I don’t plan on changing that anytime soon! All of the vets and assistant are very kind and skilled individuals. My dog has had many incidents and medical issues throughout the years and has always been treated well at Atlas. Thank you to the amazing team at Atlas animal hospital, 10/10 recommend!

Got my Chihuahua puppy spayed here! Awesome service! My 6 month old Chihuahua got spayed here. The process is very quick and easy (no need to make an appointment. Just call them to ask for procedure). I just had to drop her off in the morning and pick her up in the afternoon. She healed up very quickly, the vets and staff were attentive during her recovery and I am so happy with the process overallI have been taking my Chihuahuas for months there now as they have great service!

I really appreciate Atlas Animal Hospital. I have brought my kitties there for many years and I know a lot of the staff there who are generally pretty friendly and helpful. There are a few vets there I really like too. It is convenient that it is open 24 hours. The only thing that I'm not happy with is a couple of vets that have been on the late shift. Of course there is a rotation so not always the same vets are there at the same time. My issue with these 2 vets was their over charging and poor awareness of my animal's condition - but these were exceptional situations and not the norm which has been generally great service and decent prices (for the most part). I find the daytime vets and staff to be excellent most of the time.

I've been here since the year of 2006 when I had my first pet. I glad and thankful that the vets and all the staffs explained clearly to made me understood that what I should need and care for my pets. Throughout the years and my pets always been treated well at Atlas. This clinic is open 24/7, without an appointment, reminded me for the next visiting before the day. I strongly recommend this place.

Terrible place, don't take your pets here if you care about them. Got a bent needle on an impressively well behaved dog that barely did a whimper for the first shot and stayed still, no idea why the doc got so nervous he just stabbed my poor pup on the spine so badly. Also recommended (wrongly and irresponsibly) to give rabies booster even though my pup had just gotten it 6 months ago, half a year too early. And keep in mind that when you ask for recommendations he's going to recommend things based on your human comfort even if the differences between two options on that front are negligible and you're specifically asking on what is best for the actual dog, the patient, not you. It took like 4 attempts at asking for him to understand that I want what's best for my dog not what is easiest.

I’ve been to many vets in my lifetime and I’m so glad to finally have found Atlas. I will happily make the 45min drive anytime needed. They are honest and get the job done and don’t try to oversell you like every other vet. They have helped my pets, my parents pets, and pets of those I’ve recommend Atlas to quickly and effectively each time. I highly recommend!

Our family has been attending Atlas Animal hospital for approximately 19 years and we have received excellent care throughout these years. This includes 4 surgeries for different dogs over this 19 year period. The thing I appreciated most was these doctors have attended at our home on three occasions to send our BELOVED pets “ over the rainbow bridge” since we had no interest in performing this dreadful task in their clinic. It makes such a huge difference to put your pet down in the “calm” of their own home amongst those who gave their all, particularly love, to a cherished pet. This service I appreciated immensely. It’s the kindest thing to do for your pet. That’s what our pets mean to us and thank you - ATLAS Animal Hospital for making this possible and less painful. We did have to call a restoration company to wipe up all our tears- but that is a small price to pay. Enjoy and love your pets. They love you!

Appreciate that you guys are open 24/7 with an adorable exam fee. I find the vets reasonable with a little push for communication. I am an easily trusting person and I am wary of this. I hear such mixed things about this office. I have a few pets and I bring them all there for medications, exams, X-rays, vaccinations. I find the vets extremely kind. They were really good with my animals. as my animals are very nervous around strangers.
