A gardener's paradise where you'll find not only plants, seeds, soil, planters, shrubs, trees, tools, tropicals, annuals, perennials, statues, but also gift items, apparel, candles, hummingbird feeders, trellises, and even fish for your koi pond. Went on a sunny afternoon and it wasn't as busy as I expected so there was plenty of parking, but none in the shade. Well staffed with knowledgeable and helpful employees.

I cannot praise this place highly enough. Their selection is very broad and their staff are very helpful. I was looking for Shasta daisies and the staff made sure I got some although they were quite a walk away from where I was. Some design thinking is already done for the buyers, and they can get an idea of what blooms would look good together. I got some wonderful petunias too! Most combinations of ornamentations and plants are also striking!

Lovely once you are inside the store. Lots of interesting options to choose from and their home decor section is always turning up some treasure or two!My husband is an ardent gardener and loves the quality of the plants and soil he picks up here.There is plenty of parking available but this is a very difficult location to get to while the construction is going on. I'd go to the one on Nelson and Marine Drive.At both locations the staff are helpful, kind and knowledgeable. We visit the Market Crossing one more often.

I have two very young daughters, and one day we visited the Garden Works store located on Lougheed Hwy in Burnaby. During our visit, we had the pleasure of encountering a delightful employee named Eve (or possibly Evelyn). Eve was busy at her table, creating crafts and decorations for the store. Despite being interrupted by my curious and extroverted daughters, Eve warmly welcomed them and engaged in a ten-minute conversation with them. To our surprise and delight, she even loaded them up with a small box filled with little crafts and gifts.Fast forward two years, and whenever we pass by Garden Works, my children never fail to beg me to make a stop so they can see Eve and shop for shrubs and flowers. I often give in to their requests, and our first task upon entering the store is to go on a hunt to find Eve and say hello. Her exceptional warmth and kindness have made a lasting impression on us and have turned our visits to Garden Works into cherished experiences. Eve has truly made a positive impact and we greatly appreciate her efforts. Well done, Eve!

Knowledgeable staff and good variety of plants. Came here for some mushroom manure. Buy 1 for $5.99 or 5 bags for $5/each. Pay for the bags and fill as much as you can get into the large bag provided.

My happy place! Easy enough to spend a few hours here if you’re a plant lover! The early summer selection of trees and shrubs in the outside courtyard is unmatched. So many different varieties all well labeled for their preferred environment (shaded, full sun), etc. I went for the Japanese Maples and was blown away by all the choices, as well as variety of price ranges to fit within your budget. I’m looking forward to heading back soon!

I just love the staff at Gardenworks. I do not have a green thumb so they were very helpful with advice specifically about the types of soil and fertilizer I would need for my blueberries and tomatoes. Thanks so much Kevin and Peter of the nursery staff!

If you are a plant lover you have to come here! They have some many varieties of trees, succulents , cacti, orchids ,shrubs, perennials. You can also find outdoor furniture ,tools , planters, statues and fountains. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. This store is amazing!

I was there recently and had great service by Isadora. I was interested in a somewhat floppy but beautiful bouganvillea and wasn't sure whether to buy it as it looked too floppy. Isadora suggested a trellis, and then found the perfect trellis for it! Now, I am enjoying it in my sunny kitchen!
