Punjabi Bites

Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely excellent dining. Staff is so friendly and polite. Highly recommended

Food quality and quantities are worst we had bill for 42$ and the quantity could hardly satisfy even just one person. Not to mention the sabji was cold not even heated properly.If we are paying 18$ per dish at least we should have sufficient quantity even if the taste is not very good.Highly disappointed with both taste and quantity.

Beautiful, trendy atmosphere. Rocking music. Service, 10/10. And the food!!! I had the butter chicken, rice and butter Naan. Everything was cooked to perfection. I could have gotten two meals out of the servings but I couldn't stop eating it tasted so good and I cleared my plate!! I love Indian food and eat it often on my travels. This is definitely the best Indian food in Atlantic Canada. I'll be back here the next time I'm in Charlottetown for sure! Do not sleep on Punjab bites!!

We found Punjabi Bites purely by accident. We'd just come back to Charlottetown after spending the day touring around the eastern coast of the province and were looking to grab a bite to eat before heading back to the hotel. We were tired, hungry and simply threw our car into the first available parking space - which just happened to be in front of Punjabi Bites.At first glance, the place looks sketchy as hell. It's a tall, black building with blacked out windows and looked like abandoned building. There was also a straggly dude in crocks and socks smoking on the step next door and slurring some sort of story at us so we almost crossed the street and bypassed it. We just happened to notice the open sign near the door our of the corner of our eye.We walked in and it's this cute little restaurant - nothing fancy but very homey and comfortable. And it smelled wonderful! The server was pleasant, friendly and prompt. We ordered the butter chicken, garlic naan, vegetarian samosas, mixed vegetables and tandoori roti. The food was incredible! We are snobby foodies from Montreal (ha!) and we routinely eat Indian cuisine at home. We've NEVER had butter chicken and naan like those served at Punjabi Bites! Wow! The breads were freshly made and baked in a clay oven and still had the char on them when they arrived at our table. The samosas were fragrant and tasty. The basmati rice was light and fluffy and perfectly prepared. And the butter chicken....! Just...OMG!We are so glad we found this little gem. Definitely recommend! It would give anything we have back home in Montreal a serious run for their money. Five of the easiest stars I've ever given a restaurant! :)

Clean restaurant with nice atmosphere ! I usually like chole bhature from this restaurant. Bhature are soft & fluffy.

Excellent food. Our server was extremely polite. The meal arrived on time and the price was reasonable. Clean establishment and friendly staff.

Very yummy Indian food, I love samosa chaat and sweet lassi! This is my first impressive meal in PEI, I hope I am able to visit here again!

Great good, great experience! We were visiting PEI and this was the most authentic Indian food we had. The chai’s, the pani puri shots, the parantha’s, the chole Bhature and the grilled sandwiches were bang on! 101% recommended.P.S : open a branch in Halifax as well :))

Amazing and authentic Indian food. Great selection of Indian deserts (with Gluten free options) and you can get a box to go

First time here, tried the Chicken Biryani takeout for lunch. It did not disappoint! Chicken was tender, spice was just right, and a good sized portion. I will be back to try more!
