Simply Me Hair and Makeup

Getting ready for an elopement is a little different than getting ready with all your girls and family around. Having said that, spending the morning with Erikka was amazing. Not only did she knock my hair and makeup out of the park, it felt like I was getting ready with a girlfriend. She kicked off my wedding day in the perfect way and made sure I was happy with every aspect of my hair and makeup before she left. I didn't want the traditional manicured look for my hair... I wanted it to look messy and she made sure I got it. Plus my makeup was absolutely stunning. Thank you so much!!

Erikka is an absolutely amazing hair/ makeup artist! She did my hair and makeup perfectly for my wedding day. Erikka was so kind, fun and talented that she really helped me feel confident and beautiful for the wedding day. I sent her a couple of pictures before hand and she was able to get the vibe I was looking for but also made my hair/makeup look like me but enhanced. I had a very active (some hiking and various locations) elopement and my hair and makeup stayed all day long. I'm SO happy I found Erikka as I couldn't imaging having anyone else do my hair/makeup for my elopement as it was truly perfect.

I truly can’t say enough good things about Erikka! She was the sweetest person and I absolutely loved my hair and make-up trial. She was so fun to talk to and truly cares about her clients. I couldn’t wait for my wedding day for me and my bridesmaids to get our hair and make-up done, unfortunately we had to cancel due to Covid. Erikka was by far the most understanding and caring out of any of our vendors! I can’t wait to go back to the area some day and get pictures taken, I will for sure be contacting Erikka for hair and make-up when that time comes!! I’m just glad I at least got engagement pictures taken after the trials!

Erikka was a dream to work with! I provided a few pics of the hair and make up I envisioned for my wedding day with the caveat that I still wanted to look like me and Erikka executed perfectly! My make up was beautiful, natural but enhanced and it absolutely stayed put! Literally, not a touchup was required! I felt SO beautiful- truly the best version of myself. After showing Erikka a quick picture of what I wanted for my wedding hair, she quickly exclaimed, I know exactly what you want

I'd highly recommend Erikka to do your wedding hair, you certainly won't regret having her part of your special day! She absolutely nailed my wedding ponytail! It stayed perfectly intact the whole day and evening and looked flawless. Erikka also did all 8 of my bridesmaids, me and my step mom's hair the morning of my wedding - and did all 10 people ahead of schedule. She made everyone look effortlessly chic and gorgeous. Erikka is super friendly, professional, accommodating, patient, timely and overall had really great vibes! 10/10 experience

Erikka is a star and was such a welcome addition to our wedding day. When I was looking for glam hair in Canmore, not a lot of options came up and I resisted booking someone without feeling confident. Luckily an Instagram search led me to Simply Me and I was sold! She’s calm, quick and ready to roll with slight schedule changes. She helped us all feel our best on the big day. 12/10 - need to find another reason to book her in the future.

I recently got married in February, and Simply Me did my hair and makeup, as well as my bridesmaids, Mothers and Mother-in-law’s. I was SO impressed with Simply Me from start to finish, and am so grateful Erikka was available for my wedding day. I do not wear very much makeup at all, so I was very worried that my wedding hair and makeup could be too much if just anybody did it. From looking at Erikka’s previous work, I was quite sure she was going to fit exactly what I wanted. It was very important to me that I looked natural and like myself on my wedding day, and Erikka couldn’t have done a better job accomplishing that! My hair and makeup were so comfortable, they lasted the entire long day without any touch ups. Erikka made the whole process so seamless and relaxing, from planning, to my trial to my wedding day. She went above and beyond in many ways, including recommending ways to prep my dry skin leading up to the day. I would recommend Simply Me to anyone getting married!

Erikka was a pleasure to work with! She made the whole process (from booking to day of service) seamless and easy. She was very professional and great at communicating. Erikka is so friendly and absolutely amazing at hair and makeup! I had booked her for my hair and makeup, both mothers makeup, and a couple of my bridemaids that wanted it. The morning of my wedding my mother in law decided that she no longer wanted her makeup done. Erikka was very accommodating and helped two of my bridemaids with styling their hair in exchange. It worked out perfectly as both girls had regretted not getting their hair done. I would 100% recommend her.

Erikka is the BEST hair and makeup artist and was such a pleasure to have around on my wedding morning! She was super professional and absolutely nailed the look that I was looking for on my wedding day (natural, Sophia Bush inspired look). My hair and makeup held up so well even through a windy winter day and hours of dancing! Erikka is such a genuine human and created such a fun environment for me and my girls the morning of our wedding.
