Demand Renewables

I live in Ottawa, and I started looking into solar panels in early 2021. I found Demand Renewable through FB ad. I requested a quote from Demand renewables. Peter responded to my request and asked for the previous 12 months electricity usage. From there Peter, Phil and their team came up with a proposal for my home. Phil presented their proposal to me within two weeks of my request. He gave a thorough description of the type of products (Panel types, inverter) they will use and how they utilized the software to determine the best location for the solar panels to be installed. Before them, I've also asked for two other quotes; however, the proposal from Phil and Peter is the most professional and contains the most details on their plan. Also, their pricing was the most reasonable based on the quality products they will be using. But it was their professionalism and proposal that sealed the deal for me. About 2 months after I signed the contract, I realized that the energy hub inverter with ev charger would be a better fit for my house and asked them if they could provide me with a new quote and estimate. Phil and Peter were very professional and accommodating with my request, and updated their quote and we signed a revised contract. During the whole process, they arranged for all of the inspections and permits for the project, and kept me updated at every step of the project. The installers they hired were very courteous and professional. The solar panels were installed over three days (rainy, cloudy). The subsequent hook up to the grid took a bit longer due to the Victoria day storm in Ottawa. The project could have started last year; however, I was waiting on the details for NRCAN rebate, so that is why my project took a year to complete. I highly recommend Demand renewables for anyone looking into installing solar panels. It was an amazing and exciting experience working with Phil, Peter, and their team.Update: my system is up and running since late June. Over the past three months, my system met the power production estimated in the proposal. Demand renewable is the way to go for solar panels!!!

I invested a lot of time determining the best company to install my solar pv system. I had estimates from 8 companies and had meetings with at least 4 of them. Demand Renewables were far and away the best of the bunch in terms of their presentation, knowledge, communication, warranty and a very competitive price. Not only do they cater to the needs of their customers but also to the needs of the community and environment at large. They are actively engaged in renewable and sustainable energy initiatives within the community (Ottawa). Phil, Peter, Devin and Kyle were very professional throughout the entire process and provided a complete turn-key solution. They replied to my questions in a timely fashion and Kyle is a master when it comes to installation.There were a couple of issues with the system after commissioning and their customer support was exceptional. They were actively monitoring my system and were aware when problems existed. They provided consistent communication and even worked with a technician from the manufacturer to resolve one of the issues.I look forward to many years of clean energy and if I expand my system in the future I will be sure to call Demand Renewables.

Dealing with the Demand Renewables team was a rare sales experience. The information their Sales Team presented was extremely clear and very comprehensive and they supported us through every stage of the project. The installation team showed up on-time and was very professional throughout the entire installation process. They even identified some damaged shingles on our roof during the pre-inspection, the project was stopped as they waited for me to get shingles and performed a professional shingle repair as part of their solar installation. This was something that I did not expect from their team and definitely appreciate them going the extra mile for us. Demand Renewables installed Critter Guard around the entire installation to ensure birds and rodents cannot get underneath the panels and damage our Solar wiring. This was something other Solar groups did not include in their proposals and it is very reassuring to have this included as a standard feature on our system. The Electrical Safety Inspector that came to certify the system even made note of this and indicated it was a very professional installation. I would highly recommend going with Demand Renewables if you are interested in a Solar Project for your home or business, we were very impressed.

We had Demand Renewables install our solar system last summer. The whole experience was very professional and completed ahead of the original schedule. They by far exceeded my expectations in their proposal - the detail and modelling was so enlightening. Phil and his team took time to explain everything. Phil and the team did a great job. Fromthe proposal stage which was very details to the 3d LiDAR walk thru felt like all my concerns were taken into account (potential tree shade etc)Had a few other quotes. Price way they were all on par however the details really won it for Demand Renewables

They just installed a 10kw solar system on my roof. I had done my due diligence and received three quotes. Theirs was the most comprehensive and very comprehensive. They used a drone with LiDAR to map out the property and place the panels. Others used Google Earth.Permits and approvals went smoothly with great commutations from the team.Installation was quick and painless with no surprises on budget.We are extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend Peter, Phil and their team.

From initial contact and production modelling to final installation, working with the Demand Renewable team has been a marvellous experience. One of the main reasons we chose Demand Renewables was that I recognized and appreciated their genuine interest in enabling citizens like ourselves to do what we can to help mitigate the climate crises!They were very responsive to my inquiries, providing me with the information I needed to help make the decision to obtain a rooftop solar PV system.
