Bought a transom saver here. Tried to return it and they refused to give me my money back or an in store credit. They told me I needed to buy something right away in exchange. I tried to buy a casting seat, but they didn't have the post to go with it. The receipt clearly states that I can have an in store credit - but was told that it was too much paper work" to issue an in-store credit. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. I will never be buying anything else from there. I'd rather drive to Whitefish and deal with Legend

I went to pickup my boat and didn't realize i shouldn't be going in the back. Next thing i know, the general manager is repremanding me, then comes in the store to further repremand me and hung up on me but not before banning me from the store when i complained on how i was treated. They wouldn't even let me speak to anyone higher and because my voice is loud when agitated, the counter lady tells me on the phone that she feels asaulted and ignored my issue of not using antifreeze. To clarify, when winterproofing my boat, they didn't even run antifreeze though it. All for the low low price of $337. Going to the better business bureau if no apology and possibly a lawsuit next year if there is damage due to freezing.

I took my 9.9 mercury here to get it running. I didn't get time to get out fishing. Before I was going to put the engine away for the winter I was going to go fishing for the end of the season. The motor wouldn't start. I pulled the spark plugs and both were black..Tney won't get my business again.

I bought a boat from a different dealer, but the Mercury engine had a recall. Boaters choice fit me in right away and performed the recall while I waited, which only took a few minutes. Other dealers wanted to keep the boat for a week and were booking 3-4 weeks out. Super happy to get this done and back on the water same day! Great customer service … much appreciated! Thank you!

May I first say that I love my Lowe tritoon! it is everything I wanted in a pontoon and more and Boaters choice had the best price in Ontario for the package I bought. The issue is the customer service. The customer service should not end after the deposit is made. Every question and request after the deposit was made was meet with abrupt, border line rude responses. I now see that instead of focusing their efforts on fixing these issues as pointed out by other customers, they have chosen to purchase fake reviews to boost their google ratings.(you can see that everyone who has reviewed with outstanding reviews also reviewed the same businesses all over the world, dead giveaway). I hope the staff at Boaters choice take a look at this review and understand that in the world of customer service, the customer comes first and they should bend over backwards with a smile to please them, Especially when they spend 50K on one of their boats.

Purchased a new 2022 Lund 1875 Crossover XS from Jay Huck and he was amazing to deal with, even with the numerous changes and upgrades I asked for he was all over it prior to the sale and after they had my deposit. I can't wait to pick up my new boat in the spring. Note: if anyone is looking for a great used 2008 X45 Mastercraft they will have one in the spring. Thx again Jay for the great customer service and seamless purchase!

Purchased my 2018 Lund Rebel XS 1650 tiller back in 2019. I was originally looking to order new but was recommended a boat they had in stock with some additional features at a significant $$ savings! The whole experience was top notch and certainly worth the 1,200 km round trip drive. Thanks again Scott & Katie! I'll be back when its time to upgrade.

I'll try and keep this short. We bought a Prince craft 172 with a 115. We felt we had a good deal and purchased the hummingbird helix 12 model along with the minn kota ulterra. We wanted the boat ready for our wedding at camp, however, the motor kept shutting down. We brought the boat back to boater choice for a $800 bill for parts that never fixed the problem, Legend fixed the problem which was the hose that fuelled the engine..a simple fix right! But that wasnt our only issue, we were sold a broken fish finder..a $2000 unit..i purchased for the auto chart feature and just couldnt get it to work..and since the boat wouldn't run.. i never got a chance to play with it. Then this year with covid, we were late getting on the water but i was determined to get settings right.. still couldn't. So i talked to scott several times and i was told he doesnt know how they work, that i should'nt have taken so long in case i needed to use the warrenty..nice! so i called hummingbird and went through the settings, still nothing. Scott mention bay distributors in north bay..and voila! ..the unit was broken..two issues the card reader was replaced along with another part..yay Bay distributors..Scott was very polite but directed me toward the warrenty..even though i was sold a broken unit!

Loved my buying experience with Boater's Choice. Located a 2022 crossover on their website. Contacted Jay and he had everything I asked installed for me.Only problem I had was a seat back had a hinge screw back out a couple months later and they repaired at no expense.Looking forward to giving them any future business. Doug
