Ponderosa Campground
Pulled in at 3 pm and a note on the office door said to call Bonni. She answered promptly and was there within minutes. Had us settled in a shady spot quickly. There was a separate private green space for our Lab to walk which she enjoyed. This is really a trailer park with some camping spots scattered about. Don't get me wrong, we were happy with the service and our spot. The wifi worked well and the bathroom (one toilet) and shower were very clean however, this is a place to stop for the night after a long day on the road. I don't understand the reviews bashing it for something it doesn't claim to be. Thanks again to Bonni.

Site was ok with power and water hookups, but the public washrooms were not clean and were not stocked with paper towel and/or toilet paper. Will not stay again. Overpriced at $40.00.

We enjoyed a quiet night next to the creek. The power and water worked, we didn't use any of the other services. Everything we saw was clean. It's a older, homebuilt style campground, adjacent to a well-established mobile home park. It's located next to the Trans-Canada, not too far from a railway track. There was a brisk breeze so it covered the highway noise.The service was friendly.There's an ancient playground, toilets, free showers, coin-op laundry. We saw firepits, but I'm not sure how the firewood situation works. We may not pick this place for a two-week holiday, but we would certainly spend the night again. :-)

Ponderosa Campground
Stayed at Ponderosa last year on a couple of occasions. Bobby the Manager made us feel very welcome and was very helpful and polite. This was our first trip to Sk. Ideal spot for families. Looking forward to returning this year. Thank you Bobby, Pauline and Rob.

We stayed at the Ponderosa Campground on a recent trip across Western Canada. The Ponderosa is a conveniently RV park located right off the highway. Despite being close to the highway, the park was very quiet. The attendant was very friendly and attentive. At $25.00 a night this place is a bargain.

This is a good campground with an exceptionally kind and knowledgeable host, Bobby.Bobby took me to the tenting area and recommended the best tenting spot and provided me with all kinds of information on Swift Current.The wash rooms and showers are very clean , as is the laundry facility.I am just passing through and staying for the night and recommend this camp ground as a both a base for a few days or to over night at as I am doing.

Park host was very helpful and friendly. We planned on staying only one night but stayed for three. Clean shower house, laundry, great WIFI and very quite. It was also conveniently located to Walmart, Canadian Tire and other amenities. We will definitely be staying here next time we are in the area.

It’s an okay place to tent. It’s convenient and not too loud considering how close it is to the highway. The showers are free. But the toilet was broken, and there’s no obvious place to get water or wash dishes. The wifi also didn’t work.

Wonderful and accommodating host! We arrived super late, needed to set up our tent on a spot before the storm came and she waited for us with no fuss and welcomed us kindly and generously! Great sheltered sights in a great location for travellers, great price, clean washrooms, wifi and the park was very quiet and well taken care of. We are so grateful for this place, thank you for your kindness!!
