Brownsville Bar Park
Beautiful place for that morning walk, or a peaceful break from daily life. NOT so quiet since the skytrain makes it's routinely trips over head but still a good, clean space of fresh air. Parking lot is ample usually.THERE is a pub there as well incase you feel umm.. thirsty.

Brownsville Bar Park is the perfect place to get the best view of bridges in Sunny. It’s a small but busy park where neighbouring residents come to fish in the river, party on the riverbank, and date in front of the beautiful sunset glow and bridge view. I especially like the poetic scene on the river: fisherman in a boat crossing under the bridge and geese leisurely swimming in line. This park is adjacent to Brownsville Pub. Today, November 17, 2021, I revisited the park, amazing at its autumn view and early sunset scenery.

Brownsville Bar Park
Very convenient small park with a view of thr city, bridge , mountains n ocean.Park itself is not so big but good enough to walk ur dog around or take a stroll yourself. No rides or picnic benches but enough ground area to spread ur mat. There are benches to sit though.Small beach area where anyone can play with sand, dip ur feet in water or just enjoy a sun bath but no bonfires allowed. Pets on leash n definitely no party . Some people do it anyway but the trouble is big. Fines by parks n recreation staff so better stick with rules.Enough parking n outside bathroom .This park is great for a quick get away talk , thinking or just a small picnic.

After cycling over the Patullo Bridge for years ,finally visited the park I could see below.Getting there safely was dicy until I found an impressive pedestrian overpass about 1/2 a kilometer away.Problem solved.Much to my surprise this no ordinary park.Fishing and sternwheeler history abound.Very well presented.Congrats Surrey.Good job.

Would be great if people use it with responsibility and not use it as campfire trials. The evening view is amazing .
