Value Village

I come here mainly for toys and novelty stuff. The selection is not all that bad. The prices could be a little better, considering these are donated items. I would love to be able to pick up some second hand vinyl records, however, the condition of these items here are very unfortunate.

Horrible staff, highest prices I’ve ever seen the manager with the glasses I think she is Iranian called me the n word and was being extremely racist towards me. They won’t let you try on a single item and expect you to pay 18$ for a t-shirt. Completely unforgivable.

Horrible customer service, staff kept following me to every aisle I felt extremely uncomfortable the whole time. Random staff member came up to me snatch my clothes and searched my school bag started taking out my charger perfume and essentials I Carry with me and saying that it was the stores WHEN IT CLEARLY WASNT. They charge a ridiculous amount for their clothing. 10 dollars for a t-shirt is insane a for a thrift store. I highly recommend you don’t come here.

Well, to be honest, I have never been inside this store. I did however donate for the second time (1st time was a drop-off and go, no questions were asked), large amounts of books with a few other things with more items as I scale back my lifestyle. The lad at the receiving port was great at explaining the donation process sorting and where proceeds go - The Kidney Foundation.

Thrifting always a good time to kill time .Lot of gold for those who can find the good stuff ..Just chilling and quite busy for a Sunday.   If you donate they do give u a coupon and u can use the 20% off or the $2 off with a survey ..

Funny after reading some reviews about this store it seems that other customers have also had an absolutely terrible experience with the manager Mini.I have been a regular customer of Value village for over ten years and have donated many times to various stores. I have never made a formal complaint before but this experience at the Markham Road Value Village was absolutely ridiculous. I have never had any issues exchanging an item, I go to Value Villages around Ontario because I travel for work.I am extremely disappointed and almost embarrassed with my recent visit to the point where I don't think I will be going back. The manager- Mini- refused to exchange a nightgown- which was clearly a lace/satin nightgown (with a tag on it from Le Vie en rose) because it was not pajamas"? The price tag was marked as pajamas

The biggest and most well-organized Value Village I’ve ever been to in Toronto.The only thing is that it’s quite overpriced and it lacks greatly in the men’s section of clothing and shoes.

It is the place where you can get the basic things you need for yourself and for home at affordable prices. It is clean and organized very well. It's worth to visit and explore what they have. You can also sign up for membership to earn points. Thank you:) will visit again for sure.

I haven’t visited this location since the pandemic and had forgotten just how large and selection of items available.The store was very clean and I watched how hard the staff were working to ensure it remained so. In particular, Anam and Lorraine were very helpful and very kind. Even though they were busy putting clothing away, the both took the time to answer my questions and point me in the right direction.Thank you Anam and Lorraine for the excellent customer service!

I recently visited Value Village and was disappointed with my experience. While the store offers a wide variety of items at affordable prices, I found the quality of the merchandise to be lacking. Many of the clothing items were visibly worn and stained.Additionally, the store was quite disorganized and cluttered, making it difficult to navigate and find what I was looking for. I understand that thrift stores can be hit or miss when it comes to organization, but I feel that Value Village could benefit from better management and upkeep of their store.Overall, while I appreciate the concept of Value Village and the affordable prices they offer, my experience left much to be desired. I may return in the future to browse, but I would not recommend this store to anyone looking for a well-organized and high-quality thrift shopping experience.
