Walters Music Studio

Dyllis Walters' studio has been an excellent experience for my 4 year old daughter and I. Dyllis teaches in a way that is fun and effective. Lesson theory is often taught with puppets and she uses animals as mnemonics to help the kids remember notes. The course material is not too hard or too easy and they get stickers as rewards for practicing. The focus is on piano, but they also learn rhythm. My daughter loves the lessons and looks forward to them every week. She even likes practicing. Hard to believe but true.

I love Dyllis, the owner of Walter's Music Studio, and I love promoting her business because she is such a nice woman.ALL the musical talent/lessons from this place are amazing, it sure will be worth you time, and money!

For the last 7 years my children have been going to Walters Music Studio for their music lessons. We have experienced MYC (Music for Young Children) as well as private lessons and have been extremely satisfied in both settings. The facility is modern, bright and child friendly. The classes are engaging, child focused and meet the needs of the individual child. Both of my children love music and I owe a large part of that to the positive encouraging environment at Walters Music Studio. Their talents are celebrated and they are challenged to strive to the next level at their pace and ability. It really is a parents dream for instilling a love of music, discipline and dedication to a craft. I wholeheartedly recommend Walters Music Studio!

Walter's Music Studio has been a huge part of our family over the past 7 years. We have three children & our oldest daughter started at the studio when she was 4. Now, as of June 2014, all three will have graduated from Moonbeams 3. That equals a lot of quality time for us as parents with each of our children and it also equals a home full of priceless music! We now have a daughter who has gone on with private piano, a daughter who has gone on with private flute and a son who has started private violin. I appreciated Walter's Music studio & Dyllis specifically because her love of children & music is infectious! She is very organized and she does an excellent job of communicating with us as parents. It is hard to imagine what life for our family would be like without Ms. Dyllis" and Walter's Music studio.With Gratitude

Love Teacher Dyllis! My son had an outstanding year with her and we will be registering both our sons here next year. MYC is an engaging, all-encompassing music lesson and provides an amazing amount of knowledge to this kids (and their parent helpers too!) I can't say anything bad about this studio. It's bright, fun, clean and friendly. Easy location access off of 23rd Avenue. It's a great studio!

We've been going to Walters Music Studio for over 3 years and both of my daughters take the classes. The program in itself is great but what makes the experience amazing are the instructors. Miss Dyllis is a fantastic teacher who knows how to pro-actively address challenging topics, encourage practice sessions and also has great ways to engage my daughters so that they stay interested! She ensures that they are interested and help the parents with ways to keep the kids going. Absolutely, I recommend Dyllis and her team!

Dyllis is a passionate Music for Young Children teacher. The program is fast paced but effective in helping kids learn piano quickly.
