After shopping at Hillside Mall, crossing the way to Romeo's Place, for a special Sunday treat, was the best choice. Pleasantly surprised to find the original, phenomenal Club Sandwich" with golden fries (gold star for clean oil in the fryer) on delicious "artisan bread". To complement this perfect hot sandwich I chose the Romeo's Caesar salad with bold

Understaffed. Everything took forever and it wasn't even half full ( at 5pm) also I asked for a bit of mustard for the burger and got charged $1.50. Fine...but the server should have told me. No charge for the ketchup... I don't think I will go back. Plenty of other restaurants around

I took my mother out for lunch and asked her where she wanted to go and she said she hadn’t been to Romeo’s in a long time. I asked if she had a preference to which location and she said the Hillside restaurant because she liked the atmosphere there.Due to Covid protocols we had to wait outside until the hostess came to get us and take us to our table. Considering the hoops restaurants have to jump through to remain open during these times of pandemic uncertainty, we appreciated the extra steps the staff took to ensure everyone’s safety!My mother had their Buffalo chicken wrap but without the hot sauce as she doesn’t have much tolerance to spicy food. I had their fish tacos. The food was excellent. Portions were surprisingly generous, the food was fresh and hot as very flavorful. It had been a long time since I’d been to any Romeo’s but this experience had me wondering why because the overall experience was extremely enjoyable.

The pizza I ordered was good, The crust was nice and crispy, just the way I like it. Service was very good, but the hostess was a piece of work. The place was virtually empty and she seemed to be annoyed I had to be seated. Maybe I interrupted all the SO many task she was busy with. Didn't distract from the the good food and excellent service. Place is real nice looking and clean.

Romeo’s food is amazing, and always has been. But calling the Hillside location to inquire about my online order left me frustrated enough to cancel it. I then received a text message saying “sorry pickup order cancelled, customer error.” My only error was trying order from there.

Definitely not accommodating to persons with disabilities.I went to the restaurant for a nice dinner with my Mom who is disabled. It was an absolute nightmare. Romeo’s historically was our favourite restaurant to goto…never again.The front entrance is barricaded like for Knox with pylons. You can’t pull up to load/unload anyone with mobility issues. You have to park in parking at the far end of the parking lot to access any spots able to accommodate mobility aids. They don’t offer disposable straws for persons needing them to drink (I was told to go next door to McDonald’s to get one). None of the staff made an attempt to help. They actually stared and mocked us when drinking from straws and gestured thinking we didn’t see it. Completely unprofessional and childish.Further, when we entered, the staff was still doing contact tracing for COVID. I refused to cooperate.If you have mobility issues, I seriously don’t recommend going here. They don’t care and they are on a mission to inconvenience the customer. They need to stop living in the past and start focusing on the customers who frequent the establishment. If they followed this advice, they would return to the greatness they used to be.

It was a very nice experience for the most part. It wasn't full and we got seated next to a large party of loud old men which was unpleasant but they left quickly. Nice place. Good pizza.
