We worked with Helen to design an addition to our home, including a two-bedroom suite, gym, and office space. Helen's input went into not only the interior design, but also exterior selections, architectural design, and aging-in-place considerations. She struck a perfect balance between offering her design eye and incorporating the tastes of everyone who will use the space (us and my parents), communicating seamlessly throughout the entire design and build process. Helen's ability to project manage, work directly with suppliers, and provide detailed floor plans and elevations was also invaluable in bringing our project to life while managing busy lives. We cannot recommend Helen enough, and are looking forward to working with her on future projects!

I had the privilege of working with Helen Faustino from concept to completion, on the build of my new home. Not only was I thrilled with the design and the finishes she selected, but she also collaborated well with my contractor and all his trades. We were so eager to have some help with our kitchen remodel. We attempted at first to do it alone but quickly realized that we didn't want to waste money on making poor design choices.We called around and Helen came to us highly recommended by another interior designer. We were thrilled when Helen agreed to work along side us on our project. We used Helen's Designer By Your Side service - money well spent!! Helen designed a new kitchen for us. It was a design that we never could have come up with on our own and it's absolutely stunning . Helen was a great resource for us offering advice on colors, lighting, flooring etc. She was easy to work with and very responsive to emails. Her keen eye for design was evident. She gave recommendations but worked with us to cultivate our own style. She even empowered us with knowledge to go out and make some of our own design decisions and I think we did pretty great. :) We would highly recommend Helen to anyone needing a little help making their space more beautiful. Helen recently helped us with the renovation of a large ensuite and the improvement of several other rooms. She was great to work with and very professional. She listened well to our goals and wants and made many great suggestions. The final design was beautiful and a testament to her skills in design, material selection, lighting, and colours. The General Contractor she recommended for us was a great fit for our schedule and approach to the project, as well as very capable and teamed up with qualified sub-contractors. We highly recommend her and will use her for other projects in the future.

We have recently completed an interior design consultation with Helen Faustino and have no hesitation in recommending her professional services. We loved working with Helen. Before we moved back to Vancouver Island (we were in Halifax, NS) she and her assistant (Emma) were very helpful. They listened to our requests and always gave options for selection. When we moved back things went right along. We renovated 3/4 of our home. We were all on the same page and this is when I knew Helen listened to my suggestions, concerns and helped us come to the perfect selections for our home. I worked with Helen and her design firm on two projects. One was a residential renovation, and one a commercial office renovation. I strongly recommend her design services, and I expect to work with her again.Helen surprised me by how responsive she was to the client's needs and desires, and how collaborative her process was with the contractor and client and all involved.
