Optimus Learning Centre

Working with Optimus has been the number 1 takeaway of my entire academic career. Christine Duff does not disappoint. Ever. Her dedication to helping students of all ages and backgrounds is unparalleled University students are in for a treat (where time management becomes ultra important - especially in first-year). Optimus has the attention to detail and strategic planning skills when it comes to helping their clients with time management. They understand each of their students' specific needs, and then structure the plan around that, which has been the ultimate catalyst for my success in university.

Optimus has been wonderful for our son. He is 8 and has been coming here for 2 years. Kyle and Christine are amazing teachers- very engaged and involved in making a learning plan that works for him! Very impressed.

My daughter is a much more confident, organized and successful student since she began working with Optimus. The skills she has developed will serve her well as she prepares for University (and for life in general). We are so thrilled we found Optimus!

The teachers at Optimus are some of the very best in the industry. They're incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Optimus tailors their learning plan to the strengths and abilities of their students and ensures learning needs are met. With their goal-oriented plans, students are able to achieve optimal academic success, and overcome challenges and barriers to their learning. Also, the facility of the learning centre is incredibly organized, bright and inviting. We will choose Optimus every time!

Both of my kids have worked with the amazing staff at Optimus. My son had a complex learning profile and Christine Duff was his absolute champion over several difficult years. During his time at Optimus, he learned crucial academic skills that he's currently putting to use at university. And my daughter was-- wait for it -- anxious and working too hard at school; she needed how to learn to work efficiently and to prioritize specific assignments. (Currently, she's working with an astounding chemistry tutor at Optimus, and she loves the subject.) In brief, my kids have very different personalities and learning styles, and the professional and kind staff at Optimus offered them authentic understanding and compassion, which enabled them both to excel. In fact, they haven't simply learned academic skills; the folks at Optimus have taught them communication and organizational skills that they will rely on when they enter the work force. Bottom line: Optimus is the place to go for academic coaching and tutoring. They have a deep understanding of kids with complex learning profiles, and they are passionate about what they do.

I currently have both daughters attending Optimus. My oldest daughter has been attending for over a year and has improved by leaps and bounds. She has more confidence and is now reading all the time. She has also begun doing math classes and I have already seen improvements. Kyle and Christine have been amazing with both my kids and I highly recommend Optimus Learning Centre.
