Forest Lawn High School | Calgary Board of Education

A few amazing staff members , but that's about it. They allow programs to run on their property with no proper knowledge of how they are run. My husband and I pulled our daughter out this school for that very reason.

Pain, suffering, emotional damage. this is what to expect from this lowly yet well mannered school. the only peak at this school are the welcoming teachers and the well diverse crowd. the only attribute of this school I seriously dislike is the way the business office ladies treat the students, they will go after you for the most simple things, occasionally nagging about due book dates.

As a former student of Forest Lawn I can tell you it is not a bad school. Those that made rumors about it should shut their trap. The teachers are great and fun, the students don't stir up too much trouble either. I passed with good grades and am glad I chose this school instead of another

Should've went to Centinnel high school, forest lawn got my address and name wrong for my diploma. Btw Krystopher's not that tall he's 5'10/11". He wears thick soled shoes so he can be an inch or two taller."

I wouldn't recommend. Although the rumours about this school are fabrication, it's not good enough to even earn one star. Jack James is victim to the same fate. 2 terrible High Schools next to each other like 2 bu11 cheeks.

The school is great for those who want to succeed in life, but the school's year book club doesn't seem to give respect on other classes that has worked very hard to support the athletes and worked very hard to succeed in school to achieve their dreams like the Culinary Arts class for example. I was one of these students who's in this class and I haven't seen a SINGLE picture of me, the students, and the chef teachers who are working very hard to make these meals in this year's year book. Pictures of me in events that I participated in aren't even in this year's year book as well. I mean, COME ONE, year book club! Stop overdosing sports, athletes, and world news and use it as filler and add actual pictures of the rest of the class working hard instead because the atletes aren't the only one who support this school!!!!!! Besides that, world news wasn't even RELATED to this school's success!!! It's just filler to make the yearbook exciting, but it's not... It's boring.

Teachers are terrible, Students are terrible, and just about anything you could think is disgraceful at this school. Don't come here if you ever plan on having a future, because this place will destroy it. Gym department teachers are spiteful. If I could give 0 stars, I honestly would.

I graduated in 2011. There were great teachers i think this school helped me become pursue nursing. People might say its ghetto" but if we could keep the mindset that we can do well no matter where it is then you will."

My whole family went here and they loved it here and its not a bad school just they put a good school in a bad place thats it and next year im going to be a grade 10 freashmen and i cant wait but for all those people who rate this school lower then 3 stars can go away cause this is a 5 star school

Why does the school end at 3:13PM? I do not get it.Why isn't it 3:10PM or even 3:15PM?! This is a complete and utter disappointment seeing such a simple thing done wrong.What about the students suffering of OCD, will they not be cared about and instead make them endure the pain of a school ending at an uneven time????
