This place helped me turn my life around. I not only found God but I am now surrounded by many people in my life who have my best interest at heart.Being out in the mountains helped me disconnect from all the stresses in life and focus on what really mattered. My husband Chris Flynn was at Joshua House 18 or 20 years ago and you made a huge difference in his life! He is a healthy drug free person thanks to Joshua House. ♥️

I spent almost a year here, Did the Program once for a couple of months and got to know the Staff and Director. I wasn't a Christian but I never felt pressured to become one. Even though I failed I really felt loved by some of the staff and I knew I would return one day. I Came back for the second time more willing to try and change my life. I learned alot and began to have faith and felt so happy. I became a volunteer staff member and felt respected and Richard the Director believed in my abilities and entrusted me to Repair expensive Systems and Vehicles and I enjoyed having the chance to give back. I was Given My own workshop to Custom Build but I wanted to wait until spring to start that project., Richard was always a call or a text away if I needed anything. He always bought whatever equipment or tools I asked for, and He listened to my input and saw in me the things myself and others had failed to see. He taught me that it's okay to be wrong and that a man confesses his wrongs and that no matter what you have done wrong.. All it takes is honesty and the willingness to change to make things right. He led that by example. When I heard him confess some deeply personal things to a group and when he shared his own struggles it spoke to me in a way that made me want to be a better man. I had some minor conflicts with another staff member which is a normal part of life but I left the program af almost a Year. I didn't leave on good terms but Richard the director was always Kind To Me and His Wife Angie too.

Love, compassion, discipline, brotherhood, growth, GOD........ These are just a few of the gifts Joshua house will facilitate through the love of Christ. It’s a place you can call your home while you work on all the trauma and hurts that caused you to pick up and use in the first place. I have personally created life long bonds with the brothers that were the helping hand as well as the brothers that came in struggling with me. The transform suffering into lessons and hate into Love. For the scripture say “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.” 1 John 4:18. They are aligned with amazing programs and give you the opportunity to get back to work once you have done the work, giving you levels of progression to ease you back into society. Joshua house is such a lovely place for men to rest their heads and pray… get better. Today a couple of men volunteered to help my friend move her belongings. She has a disability and these men were heaven sent to help us!Thank you Angie, Richard, staff and these beautiful men in recovery!!!Cherie

Addiction covered my family in darkness for many years but I have recently had light shine in through the good and Godly people of Joshua House. I now have the most precious commodity that a family member of an addict can have; hope. I can now breathe, I can now dream of a future for my loved one, I can now express myself to caring, concerned and righteous staff members who have all been there. All my money dropped on the doorsteps of other world class" facilities only brought broken promises

Before I went to Joshua House, my future looked grim, quickly spiraling downwards. I was addicted to drugs for 39 years and never knew Christ or my family or what a healthy relationship looked like and didn't care. What changed everything for me was Joshua House's mix of 3 components: 1) behaviour modification 2) CRs' 12 steps 3) most importantly, to want the need to have a relationship with God and Jesus Christ in your life. The bonuses are the wonderfully helpful and caring staff, fantastic counselor and all the while in a beautiful mountain setting. Joshua House changed my life/gave me a life. Thank you
