Maquette A Berkeley Event Venue

La Maquette was our wedding venue in early October 2022, and Brett was our coordinator throughout the planning process. We loved the venue from first viewing and had no regrets on our selection by the end of the wedding night!It was truly a seemless process for planning - clear communication and selection options (with loads of customization possible if needed) at all milestones along the way.The whole day seemed to go without a hitch, despite everyone telling us that something always goes wrong, and we're certain that the professionalism of La Maquette's team helped make this happen. Somehow, the food was even better than when we had the tasting. And our other vendors slotted in so well with the venue's team.Highly recommended.

We had booked La Maquette for our wedding venue pre pandemic. The team at Berkeley, especially Derek, were so great to work with. They helped us postpone multiple times and still made us feel like our wedding was important despite two years of postponements.In terms of the wedding day, the team was so professional and executed everything so well. The staff went out of their way to find myself and the groom during the reception to ensure we had a chance to try all the food and were well fed (since we were distracted talking to guests most of the evening)!The food was also amazing! Our guests were raving about the short ribs in particular. Thank you for such an amazing wedding day!

La Maquette is an intimate and beautiful Toronto downtown wedding venue. Minimalistic yet warm décor allows for the creation of a very intimate vibe. Greenhouse-like windows let in a lot of natural light, which always helps create great images. As a wedding photographer, I absolutely love La Maquette!

It's a wonderful venue with wonderful team from Berkley Events. Our event was great, the positive feedbacks were pouring in from our guests.They have a professional team, they were accommodating, attentive and we got a lot of compliments about them. Even their accounting understood our special needs and did a great job promptly.I hope we are going to do more events at this venues!

Julia, our wedding coordinator, I have to sing her praises. She went above and beyond to deliver the best possible experience. La Maquette was great. It’s beautiful ambiance and the different areas to suit an occasion are fabulous. The downstairs, the patio, and the upstairs contribute to a great flow, and Julia made those spaces even more beautiful for us. She was always there to communicate and made me feel so calm and secure about how our event would go. Made sure we were fed the canapés served and were satisfied with all the details. Thank you for everything you did for our wedding reception!

We had our wedding at La Maquette a few days ago. One of the reasons we chose La Maquette was because of the personality of our event manager, Ange – and I think based on that decision alone, both of us would recommend La Maquette to anyone. Her lends her expertise at every step, as well as her flexibility. She really took ownership of both the event space and the wedding. Beyond Ange, the day of staff were spectacular. Dave ran things with military precision. The staff were all extremely helpful, and all guests felt well received.The venue itself lends itself to class without an ostentatious appearance – but really, from pictures of previous weddings, it is what you make of it. Our décor budget was sub-$1k and with it, we were able to make the venue our venue for the night.Well done to the people at La Maquette – thanks for being the extra member of our wedding party.J&J

Lovely venue near King and Church Streets in Toronto. We attended our son’s wedding there and we’re quite impressed. First of all the staff were first class. Any request was met with a smile and can-do attitude. The food was for the most part great the steak and trout were delicious. I heard less positive things about the pasta however. The plain old wooden chairs are horrific to have to sit on for a long time. However everything else was lovely and is more likely a 4.5 star. A lovely venue for special events.

Attending work events at La Maquette for two years now. The service and quality of good is spectacular and you feel it when enjoying the food. For one of their packages they do a outdoor s'mores desert which is really fun. Great open space but wish they had more washrooms especially when potentially having like a hundred people walking around inside.
