The owner makes me feel so comfortable when shopping she is a beautiful person. I like her products because they seem authentic and of quality. This is the best shop in Detroit, hands down. I have been shopping here monthly for years. The owner and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Their products are great. I usually get oils, scented candles, gems, and toiletries. Do yourself a favor and make Djenne a part of your regular routine.

I have shopped at this establishment since the early 80's when it was on the 3rd floorof Trappers Alley, same owner in Greentown and always a pleasure and an adventure to see and smell different oils and African artifacts. Great customer service always.

Really like this store. It is loaded with beautiful and unique African clothing, jewelry, beads and art. My favorite part: the perfumed body oils. They have a large selection of fragrances for men and women and men. The oils are very reasonably priced and you are always met with a smiling face. They are located in the International Market Place, right next to Fishbones downtown. So, parking may be the only hiccup. They are worth it.

I Love this shop!I've been shopping here for 5 years now. The variety of goods that they sell here are wonderful. Not only do you get authentic items, but you could easily lose track of time checking everything out! I am addicted to the raw black soap, the oils, the jewelry and the energy stones!

I've been coming here for more than ten year!!! They have THE best oils period! Their oils are fresh and clean. Try Egyptian musk and white amber mix! Plus the precious lady with the beautiful silver hair is a jewel! Love this place! Val from Flint!

Delightful, eclectic shop with a focus on African fare. We came for the bead selection and were amazed at what else was in the store. I got some wonderful homemade incense. I highly recommend visiting!

Always a great spiritual experience for me. Love Ms. Itari , such a wonderful woman with a kind spirit, as well as Mr. Mahamadou great conversationalist very informative man who knows his Gemstones, and his craft. Overall great environment been going there for several years started out with husband whom now received his wings ,and they knew him well. Will continue spending my money for years to come. Furthermore, love the clothing, oils and everything about Djenne Beads. Keep up the Good work!
